Rhinox looks really nice. I'm impressed how well the Rhino mode, just disappears into the Robot mode, with minimal kibble. Hopefully there's not a massive rhino backpack we can't see though.

Megs is amazingly good looking. Definitely picking him up on pre-order the he shows up. Also, the mace looks great.

Rhinox beastmode looks like an incomplete Armadillo but at least it's truer to the live action. Robot mode looks pretty good. I'd be tempted for the other rhinox if if was released in foxkids transmetal colours.

Megatrons just money saved to me, so no complaints there. Hope he is good inhand for those that want him.

Rotb, I always read Revenge of the Beasts -_-

For me, the mainline Rhinox looks a bit better. Happy that we get 2 Generations styled versions so people can choose.
WFC Megatron looks awesome, will get.

As for the Leader class story, nah, Leaders cost 70 euro's now in Holland (72 usd). That's too much for an Ultra class figure. They aren't Leaders. Guys, Cybertron Optimus is about as big as War for Cybertron Commander Jetfire, and Cybertron Optimus is a Leader.

We are getting voyagers with a backpack > Leader. A voyager slightly bigger > Leader. It's getting a bit ridiculous in my opinion.
I hope we get a mainline Scourge so I can choose which version I like best.

Hyped for the movie, from what I see from the trailer it's just fun and respect for the fans.

Patiently waiting for an updated TF:A-inspired quadruple-changing Shockwave in the generations toyline

The new era of leaders started with Jetfire in the thrilling 30 line in 2014, so almost a decade ago. Did you find that toy to be leader class?

For Megatron, we need views from the back for robot mode and underneath for tank mode. I have a feeling at least his legs are hollow.

I still have both for X-360.

But a PC remaster (that would not be a buggy mess) would give the chance to everyone who missed out.

True, it has been going downhill for quite some time. I consider to be honest that Jetfire (and seeker repaints / Ultra Magnus) large Ultra's more than Leaders. But Ultra was too close to Mega so they dropped it as a scale I think.

Armada Overload is that a Mega or an Ultra? I know Armada Jetfire was an Ultra and Armada Scavenger a Mega.

It's confusing

Overload was a Max-Con, but, strangely, his Energon redeco Ultra Magnus was sold as one size class higher in that line, right alongside Tidal Wave (who had previously been sold as a Giga-Con in the Armada line).

Didn't Energon Magnus come with a set of 3 exclusive mini-cons as well? They were a repaint of the Requiem Blaster, I think. Wouldn't that be enough to bump up the price to the next class?

It sure is, or rather, Energon Ultra Magnus was bumped up a Class possibly to not to crowd the first Mega Class wave with Treadbolt and Ironhide, and to give Command Class which only had Tidal Wave a second figure (solid cases for anything lower than Leader was a no-go).

I just tracked down one of the last gaps in my Studio Series collection - here’s Lockdown!

0FE9EC6A-A6B0-492C-BEC5-A998D0205DB5.jpeg

It’s actually the Takara version, which is kinda neat! Only difference is the box, but it’s still cool to compare to the regular Studio Series boxes.

Lockdown himself is great! The molded detail is especially good on this guy, and the gunmetal paint looks really nice too. There actually isn’t too much paint work I have to add for alt mode!

I wasn’t too sure if he used both these weapons at the same time in AOE, but I rewatched the final battle again, and he does!
