They've messed over the leader figures pretty badly lately, making them glorified voyagers with a few badly-planned accessories tossed in to fool customers into thinking they're not being gypped. If they make it a decent G1 tribute, it could be good. But I keep asking myself - are there any Triple changers has Hasbro really done well lately...?

Randomhero wrote:Gypped…wow. We’re not being “gypped” with the current leaders. And by current I mean the last 5 years because that’s how long it’s been. The leader class since WFC literally weighs the same as the visibly hallowed out leaders of the prime wars. Ya know, the figures that we’re lucky if they had stuff like wrist and waist swivels and hallowed out in the back. They are still using the same amount of mold sheets on leaders but they are focused on scale with others and on an engineering level. Instead of getting a figure thats tall and core class level articulation you’re getting a solid figure with a bunch of articulation and accessories you apparently don’t care for which that’s on you that’s not on the figures. Sorry they’re not asking you what you personally want but to be real, hasbro should never listen to fans that have your mentality because you really don’t deserve 5 seconds of their time.
However considering it’s 2023 and you’re complaining about this I imagine many people have explained this many times and you just don’t care or wanna listen.

Man, that SS102 Prime toy might probably be the most hubub made for such a mid toy. Maybe it's time to revise my most overrated Transformers list. That alt mode is rough and I don't see any advantage to having the legs get that transformation when it would have looked better if they remained the same in alt mode (like other more basic optimus toys). Plus they have the alt mode kibble on his shoulders to represent the guards but it turns out to be fake kibble that doesn't end up in alt mode, leaving that mode even more innacurate. The decisions on this toy are baffling.
Also, with hasbro so enamored with their new way of having Optimus' gas tanks flip out in alt mode and then receed back into his things in robot mode, they should really add a locking mechanic to it.

Yes, Dinobots are a priority since they started the line off with one of them and haven't added to that subset since

SS Grimlock is getting a release in the Buzzworthy subline. So it's not due to lack of demand imo, nor there's that added brand licensing profit-eating aspect that Hasbro has to deal with many of the autobots.
Quantum Surge wrote:All I want are Core Class Frenzy and Dispensor, the Twins, Commandemolishor, Que, Hatchet, Devcon, the remaining AOE forms of Prime and Bee (including a proper High Octane), both Hounds, Car Drift, the Dinobots, Junkheap, the Traxes, Dreadbot, Mohawk, Onslaught, and an Infernocus that is smaller than Devastator because he is nowhere near as cool as Devastator.
And even though these films are produced rather than directed by Bay, I'll take a larger Beewun Thoccwave and a Commander Class Stratosphere.

I was thinking more along the lines of the other Dinobots being hard to make. There's ALWAYS a demand for Grimlock.

- Onslaught - preferably as an original mould because the vehicle mode is so different from Long Haul's, but if an extensive retool of Long Haul can be pulled off I'd take it.
- Frenzy - I'm surprised this has never happened, even as a little non-transforming accessory piece that comes with a larger figure.
- DOTM Ironhide - I mostly say this because 2007 Ironhide's after-market prices are insane, and it would be nice to have that mould made available again for those who missed out the first time.
- Western Star Optimus - preferably as a Leader Class that's a bit taller and bulkier than the Voyager Peterbilt version.
- Bugatti Drift - This one isn't too high a priority for me because we are getting a TLK Drift, but it would be nice if the upcoming one is designed in such a way that it would be easy to retool into the Bugatti.
- a Voyager version of Ratchet - Evan from Hasbro's Transformers design team did mention in a recent Q&A that he wants to do this, so I'm taking that to mean it's at least been talked about.

Hard to make as in design-wise or did you mean hard to meet demand compared to Grimlock?

I meant design wise but now that you mention it, there's always a drop off in demand between Grimlock and the rest of the Dinobots.
