Seeing as how Hasbro looked down upon that gimmick by censoring that team's name in the Shout! Factory DVD subs for Victory, I sincerely doubt it.

That's why they're changing the moniker. Now everything makes sense; forever.

I'd totally be down for that but didn't Hasbro say at comic con that they had no intention of doing any of the older Japanese lines?

Words of high praise.

At leat you guys have SOMETHING to be grateful for about with this Megatron. Personally though, the legs don't look too bad, it's the shoulders that are the big issue for me. They could have left the spinning turret out, just so that he can have decent shoulders.

I don't know about you guys but I would have loved to have this Megs as a kid. The tank mode has a rotating turret and treads, the transformation is quick and simple, and the robot mode looks nice and is easily identifiable as Megs. The only thing I don't think looks that great is his feet which is really not that important.

Yeah, guys, he has rubber treads, that's so great, so, in a couple of years they'll rot right off! Aren't they great? :BANG_HEAD:

They could but I am pretty sure they wont since she was just released.

Instead, here are the latest rumours (same source):

1. Titan Wars Headmaster Galvatron and Headmaster Sentinel Prime will both be VOYAGER class figures.
2. Titan Wars Alpha Trion is NOT a remold of Combiner Wars Sky Lynx (this was a question asked last week).
3. Cassettes coming out include Ravage (turns into a PDA and a plane) and Rumble (red and black, turns into PDA and tank).
4. The Headmaster (called Titanmaster) figures will have helmets built into the figures, and the head figured will fit into the helmets. You can swap the heads to change the faces.
5. Headmaster Blaster's head looks like a tiny Blaster, Headmaster Soundwave's head looks like a tiny SG Soundwave.

This is what I was afraid of. I can see the story now; Transformers have to build larger versions of their bodies to fight the Titans, which is basically the Japanese story but with pre-existing characters.

Just out of curiosity what's wrong with that story? I mean I get the tiredness of using the same characters over and over but the story itself sounds pretty rad.

They could just use the pre-existing headmasters instead of going to the well of known characters, changing them drastically just to fit. Maybe we could've seen new Headmasters created.

I wouldn't mind if they did a mix of the traditional headmasters with new guys that aren't typically headmasters kind of like what they've been doing with Combiner Wars.

Yeah and the weird shoulders, but no kid in the 80s would care about that, not any exposed to much articulation that is.

No, please no. I am all for headmasters don't get me wrong, but there are some characters that should not be headmasters. Galvatron should never be a headmaster, and Sentinel Prime, really?
Galvatron really should be a leader as well. I'm glad these are just rumors with only a few pieces of pulled art to show for it.
Combiners I can deal with. They still transform nicely and the combiner option is just an option. with the headmasters on other guys, this means that guys who should not have to worry about having a transformable, removable head placed in some sort of cockpit. that is really annoying. considering, like Brainstorm, it will be necessary to do. And as I said, I love headmasters, I just don't think it needs extended to so many characters.
Please let lots of these guys be targetmasters. those are cool on pretty much everyone :BOT:

Yeah I wish Cyclonus was a targetmaster, so that he could have Nightstick. Maybe they'll sell Legends targetmaster guys, and make a Nightstick for Cyclonus??? HMMM??? /:)

That universe cyclonus has that option, so I doubt they'd do that. And I personally like the CW Cyclonus better. The combined mode is a nice touch, though I will rarely use it (sometimes with other Lost Lighters) :BOT:

Since CW is connected to TW we are talking about both, because it is required to talk about CW when saying what we want in TW. I was talking about wanting a legends targetmaster Nightstick to come out in Titan Wars OR Combiner Wars to go with Cyclonus, since TW should be having targetmasters.

No one comment has been singled out so don't assume it was aimed at you. There's been lots of discussion in the last few pages about figures that have been previously released and whether they were good or bad - clearly not related to Titan Wars.

Arcee might be to soon to make another one, shame it would have been amusing.

I'm beginning to Wonder if (the toy often known as) Voyagers might be getting a size upgrade like they did with Max-Cons during Armada and into Energon. a Energon sized Voyager Galvatron would be a good size and teeny TF RID-13 style Prime Voyager would be a bit disappointing.

It would please me to see the Datapads with vehicle modes - I did half hope they'd all be able to daisy chain like little train cars and be pulled behind the mini vehicles on little wheels - but I guess that is the Microman/Micronauts/Brave fan in me speaking there. Tomy had a segment of their Tomica kids line that did some really cool stuff with Containers that I've long hoped Hasbro could appropriate them and use them as some sort of Rebranded Transformers vehicles - I suppose that is unlikely though.

People were guessing about the Helmet Feature when they saw Blaster, it makes a certain amount of sense as if the heads are small you can just about get away with them as a Deluxe head and then make them an embedded face in a larger helm on the larger toys while keeping the same scale of mini figures. sort of the reverse of the 1980's really.
Though if they use the Gimic in the smaller ones too that could be pretty ugly on a small toy - likewise any attempt to make a "Headmaster" out of Blurr or Scourge will be made of Horrible - so Hopefully Hasbro have the sense to make Titan Masters also able to be Powermasters and Targetmasters from time to time.

I hope they don't make the mini-figures to bland - I like that two tone look to them it gives me warm fuzzy Diaclone feelings.

Looks like a line that is going to be very friendly to MP Starsaber & Minicons/Micron interaction too.

So as long as they don't try to shoe horn Headmasters on everyone and remember to use Tragetmasters too - I'll be happy.

:BANG_HEAD:

I have toys that are 15+ years old that still have their rubber tires/treads maybe you should take better care of your stuff >:oP

Are they tf's? The rubber hasbro has used up through rotf demolisher has been famous for cracking and breaking (Mp Prime 1, rid o/p and magnus...)
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

Just to step off to the side of the topic for a moment...

The rubber problem has only effected me very rarely :
RID Car Brothers tires seem to sometimes self destruct, and sometimes Optimus or Magnus' tires can crack (usually on the back) but that isn't always the case my SFC's tires seem fine, it's mainly junkers I've bought that had ropey tires.

Armada Scavengers treads sometimes split - I had this happened but I gorilla Glued them back together and they've been fine since they take the glue very well. They didn't crumble they just split across on one tread. and considering I have 3 or 4 of that mould that only 1 tread broke isn't to bad.

I also had a G1 Inferno who's tires split.

But then I've only had two a noticeable case of Chrome flaking too, one TMII Scourge and Scarem.

I sometimes wonder if it's effecting people from places with a low humidity or places to hot or cold or even people who keep their toys in sunlight - as I can't say it's really ever effected me to a huge degree. Both of my Demolishors are fine - but then I've never Transformed them out of Vehicle mode either.

The rubber bands on my Pretender vehicles wheels are still fine, I have had issues with 1984 era Gi Joe O-ring disintegration though - but all my Visionaries are still fine.

I was a little disappointed MP cars lacked the Rubber tires but I guess I understand why that was a good thing to some people. But I've always felt the rubber tires were a sign of quality since they vanished from Chromedome, Ultra Magnus and Rodimus.

I wonder why since they use Clip on wheels so much they don't consider using that Hard rubber some of the Gi Joe Stinger Jeeps had > - I've always liked that solution to the problem of being anti-slip and rubber feeling yet still only a single piece wheel - they'd have been ideal for Weaponizer Prime Optimus for example.

--

I guess the rubber to worry about now on modern toys is things like plane nose cones and missile tips disintegrating on you.

I'll be interested to see how the Safety rubber on post 2000's and 2010's era toys lasts over the years to come as a pinned in essential part destroying itself is more bothersome than a broken tread or tire that can likely be swapped out with another. Some modern toys have pieces that really didn't need to be rubber or at least as rubbery - an example would be Nitro-Convoy uses stiffer rubber for the car spoiler than the Cybertron version and that works much better.

So I hope that the rubber pieces don't cause issues on the Titan Wars toys anyway.

My RotF Demolisher still has great rubber, the same with my 2007 movie prime :BOT:
