But they just got done with an entire line of dragon figures - beast hunters
But they need to do more dragons yet. Make headmaster dragons, combining dragons, BW TMII Megatron dragon!!!
You're right, they should scrap the third arc of cw and just make it dragon wars
Ah, but then it would just be nothing but remolds/redecos of the Beast Hunters Predacons instead of any all new molds (Hasbro: "Well, we have all these fairly recent dragon molds still in good use, so why make new ones when these'll do? The fans'll still buy'em. They love dragons, right?
Hehehehee!").
Hey, put a cool enough deco on them - as they were very solid figures, most of whom I skipped over - and I would get them; just look at the GO! verisons, they got it right
But weren't you among those sick of all the redecos/remolds and lack of new molds in CW, regardless of how good the CW molds are? This would be an even worse case than that, giving you and everyone even more to justly criticize.
To be accurate, I am sick of the unimaginative G1 redeco's of
's I skipped every release of - I like the colors and head sculpts, I just wish they had been more inventive with them. Had they been interesting, like the mayhem squad, or equally semi-obscure characters, I would've been all right with them.
As for redecos of the dragon figures, the difference is, is that I didn't get any of the beast hunter dragons, save darksteel and sky lynx, so I would still be interested in getting the rest - if they looked cool enough to me, their deco's just didn't speak to me in beast hunters. Even if all they did was release the GO! versions, I would get the ripclaw and grimstone variants.
