THAT is my major concern with the mold. with Megatron, it took a half hour of trying to tab in before he finally did the first time, and it still isn't easy, and his knees are stressed from tabbing attempts. Blitzwing was the same, about a half hour of attempting to get him tabbed in, and it hasn't gotten any easier. I fear those figures with repeated transformations.

Another issue I have is with the arms. Neither figure has arms that tab in in jet mode. They flop around and will not stay put.

On a sunnier side note, Overlord is fantastic. the weekend was dedicated to MPM4 Prime, but Overlord will get some love this week. He is the best of the 3 figures I got last week, and he is a blast, though I think Sky Shadow is marginally better. Overlord has the better jet mode, but Sky has the better colors and head. Overlord's head is really is weakest point.

Broadside I can get for under $25 on Amazon and the other two I find eventually. The only real need is for Overlord because I'm getting the Takara version.

I've seen more of Broadside than any other Voyager for sure, but many of them sell, surprisingly enough.

So to date I've physically seen every standard item from the TR toy line in stores except:

Wave 5 Deluxes
Windblade
Twin Twist
Misfile

Wave 6 Deluxe
Slugslinger

Wave 5 TM
Ramhorn

The only one of course I would like to complete my collection IS Ramhorn.

Oh and yes, I will often straighten out Transformers sections in stores, I've even got my son doing it now. Its just kind of frustrating when they have other brands in the TF shelf space, and you don't really want to move those toys because they have those items price points marked there...

Pretty much mirrors my experience though I'm really trying hard to remember if I saw Twin Twist out in the wild once. It was either a dream or I'm just confusing him with Topspin.

I also get frustrated when the toys are on the wrong pegs even within the TF line. I end up moving a bunch of RID Warriors off of the Generations Deluxe pegs. lol.

Seems pointless whinging that wave 3 hasnt even been fully out here at this point, no stores have stocked titan masters after wave 2, dont think skyshadow has had retail release here (tho I'm have curious if the thunderwing repaint will have a prime gimmick and then if takara will use that mold for skyshadow down the line).

Just got a roadburn through that's been modified tho it wasn't in the sellers description (spoiler has been cut off, rear window colored in by marker? then the spoiler reglued and has a bit of a knife scrape mark on one of his shoulders), cant be bothered sending it back for a refund tho.

Toyhax is bringing out a conversion set to turn Rewind into Eject. I can't express how much I'm laughing right now

I don't think there's anything announced, but I wouldn't be surprised -- the red guy doesn't actually have much red on him.

Went to a few retail stores this past weekend and actually saw a bunch of Blitzwings and Octanes. But man, for deluxes, it was just a constant parade of Twinfernos. Every store had like 5 of them.

A few in my area have as well, they went right from wave 4 to Slugslinger.

So I have been fiddling around with Overlord. First off, he is an amazing figure, and he and sky shadow are both well worth the pickup. Best leader experience I've really had since Magnus. Been taking some pictures as well, and in the process of doing a "pants swap" picture with Sky Shadow, I realized that the tank components are not just straight repaints. The crotch piece is actually completely new between the 2. So the jet mode is entirely new and a part of the tank is too, which I found cool.

I didn't noticed that the crotches were different. I just finished my Phase Sixers today with Six Shot. He's pretty cool. I really like his armored car mode. It can sit 3 Titan Masters. 2 in the front seats and 1 in cockpit in the back. Pretty cool. Overlord is my favorite with Sky Shadow an extremely close second.

Holy shiiiii, I love the shot of all 3, D! And the pics of Overlord, too. Here's hoping wave5+ show up soon.....nothing but TLK for weeks now.

The 3 Phase Sixers do look great together, and overall, i think this line did a really good job with the leaders.

Blaster and Soundwave were probably the more lackluster bots, but they were not that bad. We got leader sized boomboxes that also double as sound stages, and the headmasters named after their "Headmasters cartoon" rebirth characters was nice. I got Blaster, and he is still pretty good.

Powermaster Prime satisfied some (even though I didn't get the Hasbro one), and Ginrai made more happy, especially those who got Godbomber. And both used a mold I already considered to be very good, so the transformation was fun and quite intricate,

Sixshot and Quickswitch are alright, nothing huge, but still pretty fun. Six was let down by his loose knees, but Quick solved that issue. and having a pair of 6 changers is pretty awesome, and both are nice additions.

Overlord and Sky Shadow are where the line really shined though. Duobot styled combining to form 1 character, both molds were quite unique in their own ways, and just getting these characters at the larger size were great.

If anything, I think overall the leader class was the most successful class in this line

After giving up and buying Overlord online, went into Wal-mart a few days ago and they had 8 or 10 Overlords. I went back yesterday and all that was left was 1. They went really fast. Ramhorn is proving to be very elusive or expensive so far. Broke down and bought Titanmaster Scorponok on ebay($24, not too bad), pretty sweet. First time I handled one of the die-cast ones and its cool. I use him as the head of TR Galvatron. In my collection/head-canon set roughly the middle of Jap Masterforce, Megatron got a new body(Maketoys Cross Dimension Megs)and since Scorponok's transector was sliced in half and blown up, he takes over Galvatron turning the body into a transtector.

I'm keeping an eye out for Overlord and I agree, D -- the TR Leaders have been great! I love Shadow, and skipped on Soundwave, but I really enjoyed the TR Leader Blaster.
I totally would've gone for GOD BOMBER, but since I'd have to import, I guess I'm waiting for PotP Optimus....

That is a spectacular photo, man! I have MP Soundwave & co, and TR Blaster and Rewind, but I guess I just never thought they'd look good enough together for me to bother actually posing them with each other. You've proved me totally wrong on that count, so maybe I should take some time to get the two of 'em looking good like that!

On that note, I mentioned a few days back that TR Blaster wasn't a bad toy, just that he was outshone by basically every other figure in the line. That afternoon, I happened to pick him up from my floor (things have gotten a little messy) and decided to transform him back and forth a bit. And I had a blast! (...er )

I don't take back what I said about him being outshone by many other toys from TR, but I will say that I have a higher opinion of the toy now than I did a few days ago. He's simple but he's fun, and in this world of Masterpiece Megatrons and 3rd-party insanity, sometimes that's all we need a toy to be.

For me the deluxes are by far the best part of titans return. It is in that class that I feel I have come across the most amazing and fresh transformations, like Blurr, Kup, Topspin and Triggerhappy.

By comparison, the leaders with completely new molds had simplified transformations, especially for their size.

And Bodrock, I totally get the aprehension to importing. Its one hell of a line to cross, especially when the domestic costs are so low by comparison. But if ever you want tips on how to make the most of importing, do it in a hassel free way, and how to get good deals, we are there for you.

I appreciate it, Will! I've ordered a few times from overseas, but yeah, I primarily go domestic if not straight-up local (b&m!).

Hey Qwan - as much as I love the look and care put into the Masterpieces (as well as 3P), I can't help but love the CHUGs for the simple fact I can fiddle with them without any fear -- you know, since they're $15-50, instead of $80-250.
