That's the barcode for FoC Shockwave from a few years ago. Check the gallery and you'll see the barcode # is the same.

Well you have to look at the last number for the bar code for the fall of cybertron shockwave then look at the price tag for this shockwave the last number on the foc shockwave is not there on the price tag

Fun fact: Aircraft carrier numbers are oriented to face the planes taking off and landing. Ehich means the Hasbro # on TR Broadside is actually the one upside down

Where did you get "we hope this toy is rereleased" vibe from? All Destron said was the supposed Shockwave toy (if it exists) would be the figure he has been wishing for. All I said was that some of us couldn't get/didn't know about the FoC Shockwave, so a new Deluxe would be nice.

One possible way to make that Shockwave work (sort of) with the TR theme would be to leave him with the original head and remould the gun with a mini-robot mode. either a normal Titanmaster that fits in a new gun frame, or a brand new weapon type of robot as some sort of exclusive mini-theme.


That would allow old toys to be re-released and loosely tie to the theme. it might even be possible to simply sell the arms Micron version and keep the insectoid Micron accessory.

I'll be interested to find out what it's all about though eventually.

I must try to get some part lot or Junker WFC Shockwave sometime as the one I bought was missing a foot.

WFC Shockwave is not being rereleased in TR. I doubt it's even going to be part of a Platinum set, and that's the more likely thing. If anything, this was either a mistake, or they are making an all new Shockwave. Heck, it could also be a mislabel for CW Shockwave.

To me it's clear it is a mistake. That doesn't mean that a new Shockwave isn't coming, but labeling a case assortment with the name of one of the figures in said case instead of just "TRA GEN DLX" or something of the sort doesn't make any sense. The only possible way this isn't a mistake in my mind is if it isn't part of any wave or standard size class and is a special figure in his own right, which would certainly be strange for multiple reasons - no labeling beyond just 'Shockwave' and special figures not being started with someone more popular like Bumblebee or Optimus being prime among them.

Didn't we just have a vote where we could choose one out of 9 contestants, implying all of them at least had some toy design ready? And wasn't one of those contestants a certain mono-eyed purple logic loyalist?

I think the only way to know for a fact if it's Shockwave is to wait and see. It seems rather odd to me, since there hasn't been an announcement for an upcoming Shockwave toy (although Toy Fair 2017 could be when that announcement's happening). I am rather curious to see if a) it's not a mistake and b) if this is a new mold or some sort of retool.

Yeah, I'm glad this Shockwave stuff has been debunked. Shockwave needs a voyager class figure, not another spindly deluxe figure. For that matter, we need voyager sized seekers already. It seems every other size class for them has been covered over the years, except for the one that would be most in scale with the general "Classics/Generations" scale of deluxe-sized Autobot cars.

Skullcruncher really pushes my nostalgia button. Krok is neat because he's kind of a whole new guy. I do like that his TM hatch is translucent better.

I CAN say, at this point, I like them both the same. Which is a lot.

As a walmart employee, I can tell you that those tags were printed using a scanner to fill space on the wall, they're not for a designated space. Those tags have no mod designation. A currently modded item (one with designated wall/shelf space) would have a mod number, followed by a section number, followed by an item number above the upc in a 000-0-00 format. (example, the first dvd in the first section of new movies would be 171-1-1)
