The latter is what is presumed to be the case for those rumored full-bodied figures, given how the Takara releases of Hardhead and Skull come with all new fiction-accurate heads instead of the newer-designed heads that the Hasbro ones have.

The Hasbro heads look like the G1 toy heads, while the Takara heads look like the Cartoon and comic heads.

This is further proof that these deluxes are in no way a change to the class we knew. One of the erliest rumours was that these would be moredetailed toys bigger and higher priced. But that was untrue. This proves once again that sometimes it really is just a rumour.

Wolf wire looks great...from what I can tell from that picture, but my interest lies in his alt mode...bring on the wolf!

Blaster is definitely a pass, I might have to pick up a Soundwave though.

Oh and since I just noticed it as well, that chromedome and rewind picture is really sweet.

Soundwave and Blaster certainly have junk in the trunk...

Seeing some of the previously-revealed guys from different angles makes me like them a bit more; even figures I wasn't too keen on to begin with.



This for instance really warms me up to Laserbeak quite a bit. I see the leaders rn as either bigger autobots like Magnus, Skyfire or Powermaster Prime (... Blaster I don't think I'll ever care for), or as a really, really, really budget Masterpiece Decepticon line; like, with Soundwave and his cassettes upcoming this means the entire original 1984 cast of Decepticons (not counting reflector) + Titan Devastator is represented in Leader class format, which is a really cool display thing to me. And as I say, while I wasn't keen on Laserbeak before, this really sells it to me. This totally works for me.



Meanwhile, every new picture they show of Powermaster Prime just makes me want him more and more



He's just a Nightbeat head with a dumb little plane/drill thing. But I love Nightbeat. So much. Legit second favourite Transformers character period just behind Thundercracker; my love for him is enough to drop a fiver on his head.



We've got a better more close-up view of non-CGI Mindwipe's beast head now, and... oh man, is it a treat. That is beautiful molding if I've ever seen one (at least for deluxe standards). It legit looks like some sort of, I dunno, grotesque stone statue thing and is really working for me.



SKULLCRUNCHER! I love this guy, man! I mean, he's a crocodile who has a little man piloting him in his mouth, how have they not made a new toy of him until now? Either way, the crocodile mode is looking even better from this angle; there's just so much personality in it and I'm liking that posability. I display most my guys in robot mode but screw it, crocodile dude with a pilot in his mouth. Need him. Need.

Also, I know I've said this before, but Blurr just looks amazing. I am a huge Blurr fan, and it's no nice to get a new and awesome toy of him.

Edit: I know I have said this before, but I also think they should retool Brainstorm into Misfire. I would much rather get that than Brainstorm.

I get Eject and Rewind mixed up a lot. And also, it was only a question.

Does anyone know yet when the first wave of Titans Return is planned to come out, and/or which figures are in what waves?

Silly, they are only gay if you say they are male which, being from cybertron, they are officially genderless with only arcee being the first fembot on cybertron...until the other colony world's burst onto the scene. Other than that it's just a relationship and you probably assume rewind is childlike because of his height but that's it.
