As much as it pains me to say this ... Premium Collectables. Order Fortress Maximus through them and shipping will be free.
Devastator wasn't $300 btw, you seriously got stooged on that. He was closer to around $200-$220. I can't recall (because I went with the Takara version as I didn't expect to find him locally) but Metroxplex was around the $150. So I would imagine Fortress Maximus to be no more than $200. You might even be able to catch him in a sale and save a few more dollars.

Wolfwire's wolf form still bugs me. It just looks kinda goofy. Body and head and tail look fine. It's the legs and particularly the overly chunky paws that ruin it for me.
Hm. How can I get Scrounge without buying a huge combiner I do not want? The Smelting Pool is one of those stories that really stuck with me since childhood so I always been fond of the lil guy.

Yeah, but you don't have to call him that when you've bought him. Just like all the other name changes. I still call all non-matrix-enhanced Rodimus figures as Hot Rod no matter what it says on the box. Although I have to admit I kinda like the name Skrapnel more than Shrapnel.

I got Hasbro Dev for $160 shipped(Amazon or HTS, I don't recall which), but that was in the US. I wouldn't expect Fort Max would be any higher than that.

Hulkie is a legends scale third party devastator. Not entirely sure what it has to do with this thread but I've come to expect stuff like this from him

It's DX9's Legends scale Devastator. He's pretty sweet AFAIK (No partsforming at all, good articulation, solid plastic etc).

Ah thanks guys that makes sense now

and you're right syg, it has nothing to do with this...wonder if he put it in the wrong thread.
I mean all things considering, if I want to spend that kind of money I want something to show for it, not a legend sized toy.

Pretty sure this was demonstrated way back at nycc, I don't know why everyone was doubting it. Is his titan master still unpainted though?

Wolves actually have much bigger paws than domesticated dogs, so the "chunky" paws on Weirdwolf aren't all that odd when you know that.

Aw, Brawn is going to be a Titan Master head? That's really kinda disappointing to hear. But that Wiredwolf who will always be Weirdwolf to me is a must buy. He was my first headmaster.
Kinda disappointed though no Combiner Wars Jazz, Bluestreak, or Sideswipe (though Botcon saddened me with the news of that Ratchet because he'll probably now be taken off the table. I hope not though)

Not that big. It just looks a bit too cartoony for my tastes. The third-party Weirdwolf shown above has better legs. Eh I still might get him anyways and paint one as Carnivac as it should be an improvement on the Cybertron Snarl I own that I also repainted as Carnivac. And I might get another to repaint as a Siberian Husky like my family dog whom I still very much miss.
