Wow, I am super confused since when did we talk about TLK?
No need to answer, this just shows how lost I must be.
Too late! You're getting a map.
It started
here when Autobot N casually dropped that he didn't like
The Last Knight Hot Rod because he didn't resemble the character of Hot Rod at all. Deadput
understood that he was talking about TLK Hot Rod and said he wasn't meant for a G1 collection anyway. This went back and forth a bit.

That's my mentality. Of course, it needs to resemble the original design (looking at you Movie Hot Rod) slightly.
Hot Rod is not supposed to be a copy and paste of the G1 design (Which lets face it would be outdated for modern standards) he is actually supposed to have a original design.
Don't care. It looks nothing like Hot Rod, so I wouldn't use it to represent Hot Rod in my collection.
That Hot Rod is not supposed to be part of your G1 collection he is a movie figure hence he belongs to the movie collection.
I don't have a movie collection and a G1 collection. All of my stuff is blended into one single collection. I pick up what I think looks good, and since I don't like this design (because it looks nothing like G1), I'll pass on Movie HR's figure.
Then you stepped in and misinterpreted the meaning of "Movie Hot Rod"
william-james88 wrote:PS: Also, since when was that movie Hot Rod? Thats not written anywhere. The only toy we know for a fact thta tries to be movie Hot Rod is MP Hot Rodimus.
And you told Deadput not to be so forceful with his opinions.
Deadput wrote:william-james88 wrote:Then just say that instead of dictating what goes in who's collection.
Deadput wrote:My point is that the T30 figure is much better part of a IDW collection then a Titans return/G1 collection while the TR figure fits in with other Titans Return figures.

Seriously, read that again and tell me that doesnt sound like you are deciding what we should do with our toys. You are free to say what you want to do with them and where you intend on placing them, but it really sounds here like you were imposing your thoughts on others. Thats not what you mean, but that is very much what it reads like. So lets all stay friendly, and simply watch that our words actually reflect what we mean.
I mean why would you put a movie figure that is obviously movie (I'm not talking about toyline only characters that fit with G1 like Lugnut and Breacher) in a G1 collection though?
Look sorry about the whole me forcing people what to choose which is not my intention I just wondered why you would not put a toy with it's supposed collection I mean yeah freedom of choice but I think it's strange.
TL;DR Autobot N made a side jab at TLK Hot Rod which deadput thought was odd and that went back and forth and you exacerbated things.

All classes release at their own rate, they do not need to sync up precisely by assortment number, at least not with the same precision as the Combiner Wars figures. In fact, in my experience, corresponding wave products from different size classes have seldom, if ever, appeared on shelves at the same time. The smaller stuff shows up first, then the deluxes, then voyagers, then leaders. Almost every time.
