Remember how we were debating who Kup is a retool of?

As far as I can tell, he's his own mold: specifically the Titan Master Flintlock doesn't seem to be based on a previous release, seemingly based on Recoil's animation model instead.

Not sure...I usually don't take toy reviewers at their word, but the only ones I've seen online seem to like Sixshot. Still everyone has the right to their own opinion when they actually have seen it first hand

I've honestly heard nothing but praise for Sixshot other than from those who didn't like him, his concept or his modes to begin with.

Trust me, one person who thinks he's the voice of the entire fan population saying he doesn't like Sixshot, doesn't mean everyone hates Sixshot.

Getting a triple changer to look good is a task, getting something that transforms into six entirely different things and making them all look good (and believable) is a bloody difficult challenge, and I think they did a pretty damn good job.

well said. Though I have not seen the instructions in person...Is it true that the "Gun" mode is now simply inverted and called a "Submarine"? I know the U.S. is trying to promote an anti-gun, anti-violence culture, and that is fine...But some Megatron toys still have a gun mode, even if it is out of pure fantasy. There is nothing realistic about SixShots original gun mode to warrant its absence IMHO. Heck there are nerf guns that look more realistic. Of course if I was played by the reviewer and tis is completely a non-thing, then just ignore my comments.

The submarine mode is just the gun mode upside down yeah. I'm guessing this is them just playing really safe.

Not to get all political, but if Hasbro wants to be the "PC giants" that people say they want to be, then they should really stop doing Nerf guns. I think some people are too wimpishly enslave-able to even comprehend the thought of owning a gun and being able to protect themselves sometimes, and the mere thought of anything resembling guns is "promotion of violence". Yet, people love Nerf guns that actually shoot something. Sad.

Toy laws? If toy laws are doing it, then Nerf should be long gone before Sixshot's gun mode. Just sayin.

I'm wondering if Takara's gonna do something similar to their version of Overlord as with Super Ginrai. Maybe make the legs bigger or something to make him the same size as Optimus' combined mode. Could be interesting. I suppose TR Overlord is gonna be more along the lines of IDW's size though.

Hell, Kup's canopy looks to be about a wide as Blurr's entire alt mode.

With the way Hasbro's making their toys look like in the Marvel comics, I can imagine them making a Grimlock with a dark blue head.

It's toy accuracy that just so happens to coincide with the Marvel models being toy-accurate, really.
Which is a shame because I'd like to see some of the Marvel decos make it onto a toy intentionally.
