She was revealed at Toy Fair, along with the others. She'll be the third main member of the Scourge/Highbrow family, sharing the same basic parts.

See, she's so close to looking decent but then... those elbows... THOSE ELBOWS . There's just too many different sets of proportions trying to coexist with each other on the one toy, and it comes out looking like they couldn't decide what they wanted to do (or at least couldn't make the physical toy do what they wanted to). Even if they'd just kept regular-sized forearms, maybe resculpted the hands to be more 'feminine' a la Torchbearers, then everything would have worked together so much better, but as it is nothing feels quite right to me with her robot mode.

(Doesn't help either that because they molded the fan onto the 'face' part, her actual head seems super tiny and out of proportion as well. Maybe they could have put some kind of a connection point on the 'face' part, and kept the fan as a separate accessory that could attach via that point like usual; would have given her a regular-sized head plus a cool accessory that's in keeping with her other toys.)

Man, I don't want to be negative about what's really our first good look at a new toy. IMO, her legs and torso actually look great! (Not like that you gutter-minded... well, okay, maybe like that too.) It's just... I mean, if your biceps and elbows were three times the diameter of your forearms, don't you think that would be a bit of a problem?

If anything that means she has extremely strong elbow pistons that allow her to swing her sword/s more violently.

Hmm, possible, but then wouldn't the forearm structures snap from the incredible force exerted on them by that strong of an impact? I'm all for fictional justifications of strange toy decisions/issues (heck, I accidentally superglued my TFP Megatron's forearm swivel and just headcanoned it as mobility-limiting battle damage), but whichever way you look at it, there's very rarely good reason for a vital part of a combat robot's structure to be significantly less durable than the rest of it.

I see it as a means of lowering the resistance from wind or other fluids so that the swings will still retain much of the force even if the fluid is very viscous.

Courtesy of fellow board member Albatross250 and coming from the TFND Facebook page, we finally have our first decent look since SDCC of Titans Return Windblade; one of the three new Deluxes from the upcoming Wave 5! We get a couple pictures of her Robot Mode and then of her Vehicle Mode, which perhaps show some... odd proportions compared to what we've had of the character before. In any case, it's awesome to see and might indicate Wave 5 hitting stores very very soon. Check the pictures out below and tell us what you think in the Energon Pub!

I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about her - on first impressions from the new pictures I did like, but now I'm not awfully sure about the proportions. At the very least though the vehicle mode is quite nice and I ADORE the headsculpt.

I was just thinking about getting some more Windblade goodness, and that headsculpt sold me hard. Have we seen the Titan Master? Is it - gasp - a tinier Windblade?! (or Vigilem?!?!?!)
