Well, that partsforming Minerva/Minelba would be the Wonderfest 2015 Minerva Resin Kit. I have never seen it on e-bay. Funny enough, the other Resin kit they did for Wonderfest that people have been wanting is Metalhawk but he will finally get a proper release in the titans return line, but also in an exclusive boxset.

A resin kit? Hmmmm... Pass...

I really hope for a Minelba TR deluxe. I can settle for just the head too. There will be a custom incoming for sure. My Chromedome could be sacrificed for the Cause.

I totally agree. I would also pass on a resin kit. I can very well repurpose another headmaster carfigure with her head.

I always considered Cybertron Override as a pretty good stand-in for Minerva. Maybe someone could develop a little upgrade kit to add Titan Master compatibility?

Nice set. My only misgiving is the unpainted face of Pounce. It looks cheap like Galvatron and Megatron, both of who's faces i painted silver.

Also they should have used Tidal Waves head for Broadside.

P.s. how many Optimus Primes do we need in one line?

Tidal wave does have a jet mode as far as I'm aware, it's just that nobody's showing it off because that mold's jet mode is terrible awful and anyone who acknowledges it shall be exiled for ever and ever.

Nope. We didn't get pics of it back at Toy Fair. They only had robot and ship mode on display. Jet mode really is that bad. Qwan is right; anyone who acknowldeges it shall be exiled for ever and ever.

And that's why both Broadside and Tidal Wave will never be considered as triple changers by this fan from this mold...'nuff said!

You're not too far off. $165. I preordered it, so right now I have that and the Siege on Cybertron set both on PO from BBTS. I definitely don't need both, so I'll have to decide which to keep.

The head is a bit lackluster, but it still looks decent enough for what it is. Besides, I'll be having him in his much better mode more if I get him

Oh I'm not arguing, I'm one of the greatest pessimists you'll meet. It was just such a stingingly accurate remark that I had to single it out for appreciation.

I see what you're saying, but I'd say expectation is what to watch out for. Hope is good. Sure, your hopes may not be realized for a couple decades, but there's a chance.

After all, when Classics first started; did we ever think we'd get a full Leader-class remake of Overlord, or a new rendition of the 1987 Targetmasters?

Generations keeps delivering more and more on everyone's hopes. I doubt this'll get to the point of the whole line being taken over by obscure late-G1 characters - Titans Return has certainly relied on the star power of the likes of Soundwave, Optimus and Bumblebee to stay afloat; not to mention that characters like Overlord and Chromedome appear in contemporary fiction which certainly helps - but if anything, the last few years have proven that hope isn't such a naive thing to hang onto.

So, regarding the box sets, looks like my theory about Primes in every box is now busted, thanks to Orian Pax being in the Tribute set.

So, Intelligence and Firepower are left. It will be fun to see what are going to be in those sets.

What if we get a surprise and they do a decent retool of Galvatron into voyager Shockwave for Intelligence? Then God Bomber could be the Firepower Leader.

Here is my thoughts on the sets (based on the rumors of figures, and other guesses people made):

Intelligence:
Leader - Soundblaster or Thunderwing
Voyager - Shockwave (remold of Galvatron)
Deluxe - Carnivac (repaint of Weirdwolf, might be in the other pack so there is at least 1 autobot here)
Clone - Wingspan

Firepower:
Leader - God Bomber
Voyager - Flywheels (repaint of Blitzwing)
Deluxe -
Clone - Cloudraker

All TR Leader Class molds have had (or will have) 2 uses so far for the TR line, save God Bomber...I'm really hoping there is going to be a new Leader Class revelaed for wave 6, that could reused as the leader of the 4th Box set.

As it stands now, we all *hope*/speculate that God Bomber will be the leader of one of the Box Sets. But if they do not come out with a new Leader for wave 6, which of the existing leader molds would we want a 3rd use for?

Optimus Prime (Considering this started out as a remold from CW leader Ultra Magnus, I would hope they would nto try to modify another use out of Optimus, Ginrai, Magnus Prime etc...)

Blaster (Could be reused as Sounblaster or Twincast)
Sixshot (Could be reused as Greatshot)
Skyshadow (Could be reused as Dai Atlas)

If any of thse, I would actually prefer either Greatshot or Dai Atlas, but again, I'm still holding out hope for another new Leader to be revealed and thusly used a 2nd time in one of the box sets.

I would like to see a Twincast from Blaster.

Pounce definitely looks cool! And I'm with Kurona - if I get the set, he'd mainly be in alt mode.

I would like to see the Titans Return Blaster/Soundwave mold retired and melted down to make something worthwhile. Leader class is just too big for those two.. Way to not only bring back the issue the G1 Blaster toy had among its fellow G1 toys but also inflict that issue on Soundwave, HasTak! Why not another stab at a Leader Class Jetfire, if you were that desperate for another Leader-class w/base mode? Be a much better use of the size and complexity than the Thrilling 30 version's "Has the cartoon robot mode but the Valkyrie altmode because reasons", being that big actually suits the character, recycling the Classics toy's helmet gimmick would fit right in with larger Titans Return toys, and that big jet mode would make a nice ride for Titan Master figures. On top of that, he could be redecoed as Dreadwind (with an alt. head) for the Decepticons.

But instead we get oversize versions of both tape-deck characters. Pass.

I wouldn't want that as I still would like more Data Pads.. and to justify that they might need to release Soundblaster & Twincast.

No, it isn't. It belongs in the same smelting pit as the Ultimate and DOTM Leader Bumblebee molds.

What exactly makes it a bad mold? Besides it's size I don't think I've seen a single complaint about the mold.

Just because the size isn't right for the character doesn't mean they aren't good toys. Besides, they actually do have classes to slot into - the CW Leader Megatron and Seekers could do with a Soundwave; and you can use this Blaster as an MP stand-in. Heck, you can use the Soundwave as an MP stand-in if the actual MP is too expensive for you.

But again, they're pretty good toys. And they're that size not just because of the whole G1 toy reference thing, but so they can have play-ability with the Legends cassettes. It's really quite fine.
