Overlord comes with Dreadnaught, Sky Shadow (Black Shadow) comes with Ominus.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Dreadnaught and Ominus are already sculpted to resemble Giga and Mega.-Kanrabat- wrote:One thing is sure, I'll get that Overlord when he'll come out. As for the "head-tits", just turn the head around and there you go, suitable engine blocks!
So guys, what Titan Masters would be the most suitable to play the roles of the two "engine guys"?
So Overlord come with these two then?

A shame it'd be hideously difficult to engineer because it'd be kinda neat.

Are you kidding? Carnifex is ugly. If you're going to insist on third party, wait until one of the outfits with an actual grasp on aesthetics makes a Fauxverlord.
What exactly makes Overlord look "boring" to you anyway?

Clearly we are two very different Transformers fans, and that's okay.I have never watched Masterforce so my only connection to Overlord is through the IDW comics. In that sense, Carnifex is a beautiful representation of that design. Meanwhile TR Overlord is a faithful version of the cartoon model and the G1 toy, which in my opinion is an inferior design. It's blocky all the way through, has little prominent detail, and includes a bland facesculpt. The legs also seem to be too skinny for the upper body, which is rather large on the TR figure. Carnifex is in lovely proportion, is full of sculpted detail, has angles other than 90 degree angles, and both headsculpts were taken from the art perfectly.
Now this is just my opinion and no I don't insist on third party, but when a third party company does what I like and HasTak doesn't I have to consider the other option. I didn't intend this to turn into a lengthy "official vs third party" post so my apologies.
