Re: Transformers Titans Return Product Reveals, News, Updates, Rumors, Leaks and more!
I was wondering some people must have a couple of Metroplexs - I only have one so I was wondering how well do they fit in pairs or 3's ?
Do they look good back to back or in a courtyard square shape ? How well to the ramps work with each other.
It would be interesting to know should they ever decide to make a repaint of some sort - like a Gold Autobot city colour one say (though that might make more sense for Fort Max).

Better yet, release them all at once, but in blind boxes so we can trade them with our friends.

Anyway, I found a fresh case of Titan Masters wave 2 revision 1 this morning at Walmart (Apeface, Brawn, Nightbeat, and Loudmouth). Picked up Nigtbeat to finish off my wave 1 guys and Apeface to start off wave 2, but I still haven't found regular wave 2 yet. Hope I can find Clobber and Skytread at retail, I really don't want to have to special order them online if I don't have to.
I find I don't mind Nightbeat's face nearly as much as I thought I would at the smaller size and he's a fun figure. Apeface is possibly the most perfect figure in the line so far. Shame the face was painted entirely off center so he as a silver smudge to the right of his mouth plate and his right eye is a little to the right.

Well some people probably do have more than one!(or at least the Metroplex mold) coz they would have him + Fort Max.

Same size as a normal city Titan box I would assume.

They could have the hasbro release, the TT release, and the sdcc release... though, at that point, I'd legitimately question if they had a problem - maybe they're just fans of metroplex
(plus if we snarkily include fort max, they could have the habsro, legends, and sdcc fort max bringing their total up to 6 versions of metroplex

I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

I don't get why some Generation 1 fans are mad about Blurr being a headmaster now when it means they can recreate a G1 scene.

But is it really any more messy than Death's Head? Where Hasbro has the license to do Marvel superhero toys and owns Transformers you'd think she'd be easy (or easier) to do.

Re: Transformers Titans Return Product Reveals, News, Updates, Rumors, Leaks and more!
Yeah Circuit Breaker was in a Marvel Comic ( I think it was once of the Secret Wars ones SWII possibly - I can't be bothered to check) to secure the rights for Marvel.
So yeah it can't be that hard to scribe some lines on a Carol Danvers or Emma Frost body can it ?
I suppose the Marvel rights were what made it so difficult to include her with Club Gi Joe figures though.
------
Also I know what Metroplex & Fort Max look like together - I was more interested in what the longer ramps of a Metroplex look like in a cross formation back to back... since Fort Max doesn't so much Transform as he does Lie down and to the splits.

The biggest thing is:
With a licensee like Marvel, Hasbro doesn't have full say over what Marvel toys they produce. They have to take input from Marvel.
As I recall, Mattel didn't really care to produce New 52 DC Comics characters all that much. They were generally more interested in vintage characters for older collectors and TV/movie versions for kids. But DC could make approvals difficult if Mattel didn't support their initiative. They wound up cancelling and relaunching their toylines before DC went along more with Mattel's preferences.
There's a chance somebody like Circuit Breaker would be a character Marvel wouldn't want Hasbro to produce because they like toys to advertise their comics. There's a high chance it would be non-commercial.
Unless Marvel starts doing stuff with Circuit Breaker? I think the best bet for this would be a con exclusive.
Maybe you'd have something on the order of those Transformers vs. G.I.Joe SDCC boxed sets but with 3 3/4" black costume Spider-man, Death's Head, and Circuit Breaker bundled with something like, say, a redeco of that G.I.Joe Bludgeon, a Masterpiece Laserbeak redeco (similar to that Masterpiece Ratbat in TF vs. Joe), TF vs Joe Ravage, and maybe something big but relatively budget like an overscaled Hero master Optimus Prime with a Marvel Legends quality paint app deco based on G1 Marvel.

We only got a Death's Head toy because it was from Marvel itself in one of Marvel's toylines completely unaffiliated with the Transformers. Couldn't the same be done for a Circuit Breaker figure (if she's not deemed too lewd to make into a figure)?

Pardon my French but if they can make a figure of the F***ing Living Laser Or the 3rd Summers Brother I didn't even know existed till this year then they can make Circuit Breaker (some where).
Just slap her in a 2 pack with The Beyonder - 'job done'.
Can't we get a petition up like people do with Eaglemoss Starships they saw as missing.
Besides as I said the way to get Circuitbreaker out there is to either let hasbro do what they want with her and stick her in a SDCC boxed set say with Gears & Spider-Man or some such also make JD Blackrock too.
There IS a way to get it done it's just someone has to be prepared to make a damn pest of themselves about it.
I'm not going to hold out for a Death's Head Vs The Doctor 2 pack though - I know that isn't going to happen ever. But I would like a Death's Head's other bodies though eventually - Death's Head in his classic appearance in 6" size would be ideal - the problem there though is the best fit for him is with Fantastic Four and - Naturally Marvel/Disney are being big babies over the First Family in recent times.
I guess there is nothing stopping a 3rd party making a figure of her though.

That wouldn't really fly, as we have a situation here similar to the Gobots franchise. In short, Hasbro can't make any toys directly referencing any Gobot down to the name, due to the fact Hanna-Barbera has claims on the characters of the cartoon, even if the IP proper belongs to Hasbro via Tonka. Universe 2008 Fracture was edging it but it took a real life race car to get her made. FunPub can do whatever with Gobots in TF designs, but other than Bug Bite (who was white in contrast to the original yellow) no toy Gobot characters of any kind.
Same goes for any original (human) characters in the Marvel TF comics: Marvel has claim on them, Hasbro can't do anything with them. If Hasbro could, we would have a Spider-Man Transformer that's not part of the TF Crossover series

Transformers Titans Return Galvatron, Powermaster Prime, Fort Max Posters
- Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
From the Australian fansite Ozformers and its user griffin, we have some recent Hasbro Australia promotional posters for the Titans Return line, featuring Powermaster Optimus Prime, Fortress Maximus and Galvatron. There is a story behind the pictures, and both can be viewed mirrored below - check them out!
Unfortunately we can't (legally) obtain the recent Transformers advertising posters, and Hasbro Australia tried to get some back for us fans, but were unable to... so they did the next best thing - they were allowed to release the three Titans Return posters as digital images to A1 paper size (that's eight times the size of regular A4 paper), and asked me to share them among the fandom, to use as wallpapers, or have printed out as posters if you have somewhere that can do it for you. (the image links will also be sent to TFW and Seibertron, to mirror as well if they choose, for greater, fairer, exposure)
So a huge thankyou to Hasbro for going to this trouble for us fans, it is greatly appreciated.
