WHY ARE GATORFACE'S LEGS BACKWARDS.
Like... I thought that if nothing else, the benefit of 3D renders would be accuracy compared to real-life stock images. But now they've not only failed to avoid plain old posing issues or mistransformation, they've somehow managed to actually misassemble a render.
A 3D model.
Habsro managed to DIGITALLY misassemble an item, consisting of exactly EIGHT pieces, which they not only created the 3D model for but actually DESIGNED the thing themselves. Literally a QUARTER of the pieces on it are attached incorrectly.
Just... how.

Yeah, I noticed it too after someone on TFW pointed it out. As for me, I prefer the lighting on real figures and these renders always put me off. Something can look great in renders but terrible in person, and visa versa. A perfect example is how cluttered Sky Lynx looked in renders, but in person the overdose on details was somewhat subdued through the white plastic.

Yeesh, looking back at the pics...you're right. Those eyes, man. The rest of the figure still looks good but goddamnit that faceplate is gonna have to go. Praise Shapeways!
A shame that AFAIK Energon Slugslinger has such a floppy transformation and neither mode holds together all that well, because IMO he's one of the coolest looking jetformers we've ever gotten. Those wings, that shoulder cannon, that face...

I will just put Topspin's head on it (or even Siren's, I just want a visor) and call it a day.

What head will you pub on Topspin then?
Trying to remember where I'd seen eyes like that before. Then it dawned on me.william-james88 wrote:Black Hat wrote:Looking at the renders, Misfire is gorgeous. Definite buy. Slugslinger I'm still not sure on. The face is kinda...off.

I was also thinking maybe it was to differentiate the two a little more since both the G1 toys are rockin' the shades.
Haven't had that issue with mine. Personally, I think you've got a screw loose.Decepticon Stryker wrote:LE0KING wrote:Decepticon Stryker wrote:Anyone else have a screw fall out of their Powermaster Prime but not find where it came from?
It's not the one that connects the trailer to the cab is it? That's the only thing I can think of for you.
No, I've searched all over the figure and can't seem to find a place for it. I'm starting to think it was an extra screw that somehow wound up in the box. The figure doesn't seem to be having any problems.
