I hope Topspin and Twin Twist come out over here. The mold looks pretty damned awesome and I'm long overdue a set of Wreckers for my collection. I have Gen Roadbuster (Thanks WJ88!) and whilst I'm not interested on collecting EVERY WRECKER EVER, I do fancy a small selection. For additions I'm thinking:
TR Topspin and Twintwist
MMC Spartan/Not-Impactor
FP Recoiler and Riftshot/Not-Wrack and Ruin (we'll say their conjoining is more spiritual/symbolic ala those identical brothers in TTGL rather than literally being fused)
Gen Springer
Maybe 2010 Seaspray? I know he was never a Wrecker outside a small mention in Prime, but the idea of dinky Seaspray being a hulking brute and a member of the Autobot SAS is just hilarious. Maybe grab Breacher or DotM Guzzle to go with him?

I was looking at that stock image of Black Shadow and found the way they have him holding his combined gun to be super dorky:

this is a cool combination but for it to work, you should attach the drone to a peg on the side of his forearm, so it creates a shield and alligns the gun next to his wrist. Which looks awesome and leaves him with his hands able to weild other weapons.

That looks pretty awesome. Black Shadow actually looks like a great toy, and if I get any version of that mold it'll be him and not Overlord.

That little era Seaspray was in was a strange little one where they really wanted to make the Minibots huge and/or badass. ROTF Seaspray and Brawn, Universe Powerglide, Generations Warpath... can't say it's a trend I had a problem with, but it was certainly a very headscratching one. Part of me wishes they'd followed through with it and done all 17.

For all you guys talking about the wreckers, does it mean you are all getting that Broadside then?

Those are some of the better sticker applications I've seen on Broadside. Most of them are a mess of clipped corners and unglued parts.

Probably not, if I'm honest-the stickers put me off, the ship mode looks great but doesn't even scale with Legends and the jet mode is a travesty. A shame as the robot mode is cool. I do kinda want Alpha Trion though, who IIRC was heavily retooled into Broadside.

Didn't Hasbro themselves say that broadside was a retool? I'm pretty sure I remember Ryan himself saying it was a retool and everyone kinda ignored him.

I was always going to get him since I love the navy and ships, he is the last of the Autobot triple changers I need, and he will go with the rest of my wreckers. Even though the aircraft mode is shite. But that may be why I keep Tidal Wave: only worry about the boat mode, and the colors and head are pretty bangin'. Plus, I could consider him shattered glass Broadside (now I just need some purple autobot symbols)...

Speaking of my wreckers shelf, it currently has Springer, Sandstorm, Roadbuster, and the FoC Ruination. Topspin, Twintwist, and Kup all have a date with that shelf. I'm also hoping they make a new Guzzle, Rotorstorm, Ironfish, and Pyro to join the team. I love my wreckers (maybe my extra Prime Bulkhead will migrate to that shelf too...)

Random question: anybody know when the TR boxset with Ginrai Prime is supposed to start showing up? I'm trying to wait for it, but the Takara Legends figure is calling to me, and since it goes, at best, for the same price, I'd like to wait for the boxset, and get 3 other figures I can throw on ebay.

the part that make up his feet and heels (which is the ship's bow) don't clamp together,
because, based on the design, if you put a peg to clamp on, well, he no longer stand flat
stable on a surface

he got no energon ax too


What's stopping the rest of the gang from getting him?

P.S. Not a negative rant on the fig as I too own one though the Fp version does a great version of him using Don Figueroa's Stormbringer designs.
