Thats great news. And at that price, yes it sounds like an exclusive for them since its the MSRP (and a fair one at that) and anyone not getting it directly from Hasbro would have a higher price. Unless its not exclusive to anyone and oher companies like PC can get it directly from Hasbro.

I often end up going through them when I order online, thanks to the multitude of price and convenience benefits that come with ordering from within my own country, but for anyone overseas I don't see much that would make them any more worth it than just, say, going through BBTS.

On a totally different subject, I have a request of any American collectors on these boards on the general route from Storrs CT -> NYC -> Philadelphia -> National Harbor MD. My family is currently on a US holiday and has graciously offered to pick up any TFs they find that I'm after, but at the moment the best they can do is check any stores they come across and hope they get lucky. So for anyone along the general route between those places, do you know of any stores near you that have the Wave 4 deluxes/TMs, any of Wave 5, or most importantly any Walgreens that still have Brainstorm in stock? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch guys!

That's quite a unique combination of cities to be visiting. As for NYC, there isn't too much in terms of what you're looking for. There is a pharmacy in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, Neergard, that surprisingly has a large toy store connected to it. Someone from another forum mentioned they had Seaspray and Cosmos for $11.99, $2 more than MSRP. I stopped by on Friday and they still had 2 Cosmos, but no Seaspray. Unless your family is staying nearby, it's kinda out of the way of most tourist spots. I haven't seen anything else you're looking for.

Lack of options is a big reason (along with price) why I do most of my shopping online. Is that an option for your family? Most hotels can accept packages. You could have most of that stuff shipped for near US MSRP all in. For example, Brainstorm is still available at Walgreens.com for $17.99 with free shipping at $35. Grabbing 2 (and sell one?) gets you there. TFSource has the wave 4 deluxes and free shipping at $150, while BBTS will probably have cheaper shipping if you don't want any additional "filler."

That's some amazing advice, thank you so much!

The trip is one-third tourism, two-thirds visiting relatives so it's not exactly the most 'typical' of routes to be sure. I'll pass the Cosmos sighting and location advice on to them, so fingers crossed for that! I guess online shopping and delivery is an option too, and I'll check with them about it, but I think that may be a little too much work for them to worry about (not that I blame them, it's their holiday after all!).

As for Brainstorm, I checked the Walgreen's website for store availability (which I hadn't even considered doing before you made me think of it, doy 8-}

) and there's apparently a store with multiple in stock about 6 miles from their current lodging - with any luck, I'll have one secured some time tomorrow. Thanks so much for your advice, it's really been a huge help! :APPLAUSE:

They're also great if you don't mind waiting months to get a response to your query as to when you can expect to receive a product that was released months ago and that which many received from other sources months ago.

I hope since they rereleased Cosmos in this line without the titanmaster gimmick, that they'd be willing to rerelease Swerve. He's hard to get for me!

The again, the end of the lines usually aren't that easy to get ahold of anyway, so might be hard regardless.

I wanna have a Warpath and Swerve for my Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage of TFs! Got the Warpath, but no Swerve! I wanna do a TFs Mythbusters spoof properly!

Yeah, aside from a handful like Rewind they seem to have dropped weapons for Legends figures. It's the biggest problem I've had with them in Generations

It's simple discrimination. Take away small TF's rights to bear arms, and they have no defence against the tyranny of the oppressive larger figures, and also forces them to rely on big figures for protection. Fortunately, aftermarket weapons manufacture companies like Shapeways enable Legends figures to exercise their Primus-given second amendment rights.

Myself I'm waiting for a reissue of all 3 Insecticons in a unified colour scheme. I wrecked my Shrapnel in a botched painting attempt (this was before I got my Iwata Eclipse), and Kickback isn't even out over in my neck of the woods. And even if he was, Shrapnel wasn't awaiting reconstructive surgery, and I bit the bullet and bought Bombshell or another Shrapnel, they'd all be weirdly mismatched thanks to the bizarre decision to match none of the colours between Insecticons. If they made a 3-pack of the Insecticons with better, more coordinated paint, chrome bits and perhaps (if we were extra lucky) new mold 5mm weapons styled after the G1 guns they came with, I'd buy them.

On the topic of boxsets, Broadside convinced me to keep Tidal Wave when I get that set. The aircraft carrier mode is awesome, and that is what Tidal wave strives for. Just don't acknowledge the jet! And I really want Magnus Prime now. Metalhawk was always a want, as was diecast TM Thunderwing. Pounce is the only one in that set that has yet to convince me

I can't remember if someone took this picture yet, but here are the autobot Triple changers all together, plus some more Wreckers (Topspin, Kup, and Perceptor were not at home so they did not make this Wreckers group shot)

I cannot wait until Twintwist comes. The Wreckers are coming along very well! Though, Perceptor will go to the Lost Light shelf. However, Kup and Topspin will join the wreckers shelf, and after some though, Broadside will stay there too, even if he is a Lost Lighter. Wrecker and Rule first

Weeeell, you could always get a second Perceptor. And a second Whirl, even - ooh! You could use RtS Perceptor. Eh? Eeeeh?

That Ruination looks fantastic with the upgrade kit. I can barely see it and I love it.

And... man, Sandstorm really looks distinct from Springer to me. That's a fantastic retool, just wish there was a way to hide the tire shoulders as that's the only thing that really tells me he's the same mold.

Nah, it's one and done for me... unless a gift (movie 1 Bee 2007 camaro version) or Magnaboss related. And Whirl is too Lost Light for me to put him with the wreckers. And I am good with the Perceptor I got. I'll have a sizable Wreckers team regardless!

I did too. But then I got into other Scout figures from the past to build a collection and realized that they rarely came with weapons. Few of the Cybertron Scout toys came with weapons and even fewer movie Scout class toys which people claim to be the best era for that class. So sadly, them not coming with weaons is quite typical for that class (even though it started as its main thing in Energon).

It is $99.99, as all these sets will be, and it is due to come out in late July, two months from now.
