So, Wave 6.
We know Slugslinger's gonna be one of the Deluxes. I think we'll get a full set of four deluxes as Wave 4 had 5 and Wave 5 had 3 so it's balanced back out. And the three remaining Deluxes after Slugslinger I also believe will be the 1987 Autobot Targetmasters to complement the Decepticon Targetmasters. And hey, one of them shares a name with a TLK Autobot - cross-market symmetry!
So!

Posted this a while back, but I honestly believe Hot Rod will be the basis for Pointblank - albeit as a rather major retool, but a lot of the details match up and all the vehicle/body parts end up in the same place when you reverse Hot Rod as shown in my picture. The entire robot mode would need to be reversed as shown here, the spoiler section that becomes Hot Rod's backpack would need to become a detachable weapon piece instead, and most significantly there would need to be a LOT of work on the arms. But we've seen retools taken to the next level in this line with the likes of Highbrow/Scourge/Windblade and Triggerhappy/Misfire/Slugslinger, so that leads me to believe this is very possible. In addition, the changes for the robot mode would lead to the vehicle mode looking like Pointblank's original vehicle mode too - if a bit more updated and sleeker, like most Deluxes in this line.
And as many people have pointed out, Crosshairs would very likely be derived from Kup - and we've even seen a possible leak pertaining to that, though it could easily be Orion Pax.
That just leaves Sureshot, and I think he could very well be the only new mold of the four in this wave. I can't think of any specific Deluxe in TR that works particularly well for him and the rest of the Deluxe wave would be retools.
This seem like it would happen or am I really delusional?

Pre-ordered as soon as I saw the notifications.
Funny enough, BBTS's new shipping stuff actually worked in my favor for the first time ever. The shipping for this set is only $10.75. When I bought Arcee and Chromia from them (the only other time I ever bought from them) the shipping was $10-12, I can't remember what the exact amount was. and this is much bigger
How close are you to free shipping? Maybe if you added Trypticon to your order....?!
BBTS never gives free shipping, no matter how much you buy.
Aw shucks, I guess they don't need to offer that incentive for peole to order through 'em, since just about everyone does.....
That's why I go through TFSource for online stuff. If it can be found in a Walmart, I will most likely find it there, Amazon, or HTS at the good price. I avoid BBTS because of the shipping, since I get free shipping from several other places as well.

I'm still personally hoping for Springer and Wreck-Gar to be among the new deluxes, to further finish out the upgrades of the TFTM and Season 3 characters that Titans Return has been giving us. Wanting an Ultra (now there's a size class that's been missed) or Leader (basically, I want him in Galvatron's height league but I'm doubting the trailer/camper shell could then be accommodated) Rodimus Prime for the same reason.
..And I'm still kinda hoping for Titans Return Ratchet and Ironhide because they could use a turn at closer-hewing new toys (and this or the supposed "Power of the Primes" subline would give a good reason to make them like that) and because Headmaster versions of them would be amusing to me. And still wanting Voyager Seekers in this or the next Generations subline.
I would also hope that Scorponok is the next Titan-class character after Trypticon. He would tie in better with the recent products (especially with his redeco potential) than would Omega Supreme, he would finish out the main Citybots, and he would fix the issue of the original Scorponok being (essentially) Supreme class like the prior two citybots while his Autobot counterpart was (essentially) Titan-class.

We just got the best Springer toy ever made, of all time, in history, a mere four years ago. Because it's an aesthetic mismatch to the new Hot Rod, Kup, and Blurr. Because the altmodes aren't TFTM-accurate. And because it's a Voyager instead of a Deluxe, so it's too big.

I was about to say deluxe triple changers always suffer for the smaller size, but then I remember. A slavish G1 Springer toy wouldn't transform much between the three modes so it may work out.

There are so many options, generally - just not in the case of dat Siege on Cybertron.

Especially since the original toy was actually smaller than Deluxe toys (as were Astrotrain's and Blitzwing's, though A. they were better Triple Changers and B. benefit from Voyager size for other reasons). Being a Deluxe combined with improved engineering should work perfectly fine for Springer.
And yes, Springer was generally drawn taller than Hot Rod, Kup, and Blurr... but not by much. Certainly not a whole size class bigger.
EDIT:
Got a good look at TR Astrotrain's robot mode for the first time today and boy am I annoyed. There are some cases where matching the cartoon design is something the toy designers should be told to avoid: Deryisms like Optimus' waist and missing tires in robot mode. Aft-pulls like Combaticons' robot modes. And mistakes like Astrotrain's chest.

I wonder if Cogman might make his way into being listed as some other Character (movieverse or not) like Hotshot or Nightbeat ?
As perhaps they engineered him with an alternative face too - and he could be made in Energon-Energon Hotshot's colours or Nightbeat's colours with a new face I think that would work OK.

17cm WeiJiang Titans Return overscale KO are starting to show up :
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/t ... t-14664106 Useful if you'd like a larger Hardhead or a Skullcruncher/Skullsmasher more in scale with the Voyagers
It's a nice touch that Brainstorm comes with two guns as well. It's nice to have some other options anyway.

I'd quite like to see a Chromedome to go along with T30 Brainstorm (since his scale seems to be where MMC is going with their IDW toys). Weird that Hardhead and Skullcruncher have their heads mostly in unpainted prototype grey.

KO Hard Head's Titanmaster better be named John McClane, that's all I'm saying.

What with the Wei Jiang names being :
Champsosaurs
Zhuge Fighter &
Die Hard
I guess John McClane would be appropriate.
They are doing quite a few of them including Wolfwire and Highbrow as well
Also some more RID Overscales as well such as Megatronus & some overscale Throttlebot repaints (supposedly) - I do think some people were hoping they'd also finish the Movie Dinobots Overscales though I hear people say they won't go all in- on those until the make the whole set in a matching colour.

So, with the reveal of Cab and Minerva by TakaraTomy, in prototype form, that would mean us getting Minerva and Hosehead from Hasbro any time soon are pretty slim. Shame, I wanted to complete the Autobot smaller Headmasters
