Yeah, that's very confusing. The Tank is the exact same tank for both figures that turns into the exact same pair of legs. The Jet on the other hand was significantly altered for Sky Shadow.

There's nothing about Sky Shadow that says SR-71. More like a weaponized Space shuttle.
Still a cool jet mode though.

I finally found a Perceptor yesterday!!

While I'm a tad disappointed (mostly in articulation), he's still a gorgeous figure, and joins my ever-growing legion of Cybertron Scientists. The head sculpt actually doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would/it probably should. He's still next to perfect for me and exactly what I needed in a Perceptor. Serves my purposes nicely.

Yeah Photobucket has been a real jerk lately. Anybody else having problems with it?

Kan it was a pic of a TM riding Sawback. It worked this morning, but I had to jump through hopes to get PB to let me copy the link for embedding. PB has been whack for months now.

Meanwhile, who's with me in wishing for a voyager Apeface and Snapdragon?
Will it even be possible? Because those MUST be repainted / remolded into some other characters for HasTak to make a profit... Like they did for ALL the previous TR voyagers.

So, like already did for Titan Master Apface, it will be a no brainer for Apeface to be repainted into Optimal Optimus. He wont have his "truck" mode, but at least his jet mode won't be garbage this time around.

As for Snapdragon, I have NO idea who else he could be. I never owned the toy nor know the character enough.

What I really don't understand is why they went to the trouble of doing a new head for a red Bumblebee redeco...and then made it into one of the Throttlebots. Cliffjumper would have made far more sense. Like, Cliffjumper is an iconic character and whenever we get him he's usually a straight redeco of a Bumblebee without even a new head. Meanwhile, the Throttlebots showed up for one episode in which they did absolutely nothing. Like, who was clamouring for Chase/Roadburn over Clifjumper?

Because it's cool to give a more obscure character a shot when Cliffjumper already has a fair number of toys - especially when the original Throttlebot toys were if I recall rather popular among 80s kids. And this line has been all about recreating the 1987 lineup - Slugslinger and Triggerhappy didn't exactly do anything memorable either, but here we are.

and this gives collectors an opportunity to get a guy that gets forever skipped and dismissed.
