The belief is that they're packaged together and will be sold that way somewhere else as an exclusive. Wouldn't surprise me if she's a New York Comic-Con exclusive that will go on HTS after NYCC, not after Hascon.

Apparently TFormers looked at the name of the image and it LOOKS like Arcee will be in a new Hasbro in-house subscription service ala TFSS.
Uuuuugh. Well this is going to be hell.
Well, it might not be that bad, if you think about it. Didn't we already hear that the price point will be $30 for this set? That's convention exclusive manufacturer pricing for sure. But it is definitely not TFSS pricing. Those were upwards of $100 for molds that were largely unchanged, just with added paint and head sculpts. For $30, we also get the diecast Titan Master, so arguably it's maybe a 50% premium for Arcee herself.
Personally, I can swallow having to pay a small premium for a figure like this if it's an exclusive as such. I couldn't justify paying 3-5x as much (depending how long I waited) for the TFSS figures.
Maybe this is also the way we get the figures that can't really get at there proper size classes. For instance, Snapdragon and Apeface, both have the added trouble of being "double Headmasters". Maybe they become a $40 voyager size with the extra titan master part for the beast head, but are convention exclusive. Would that be ok?
I can't remember where, but I think I saw where Arcee was only going to be $25. I know io9 had $30, but I think the promotional info from Hasbro themselves said $25.
MadProject wrote:homicide wrote:For the most part I think this new Windblade looks good, but the thing that's really bugging me are her legs, they look way too thick & stocky for a female character. I haven't seen anyone else mention this, is it just me?
I think the main problem with this Winblade are not the legs, but the head.
In order to fit all the details of the face and hair they had to shrunk it down a lot, and the face ended being too small compared to the rest of the body.
I have the feeling the legs are too square, instead of big, while the overall too bigness of the limbs is due the head being too small.
Can we have a pic of Windblade featuring another headmaster?

Well yeah...and there's this![]()

WHAT WOULD YOUR IDEAL TITANS RETURN WAVE 6 HAVE BEEN?
Here's what I would have liked to have seen:
Titan Masters:
Toraizer
Slugfest
Grotusque
Beastbox
Legends:
Rumble
Eject
Ransack
Venom
Deluxe:
Slugslinger
Pointplank
Crosshairs
Sureshot
Voyagers:
Apeface
Snapdragon
Leaders:
Dai Atlas
Greatshot
God Bomber
*(I know there is no precedent for 3 leaders in one wave, but I'm just throwing out what would be easiest among existing molds)
Moonshot wrote: If they cant find a way to make bot and beast head work with one headmaster, I would be fine with a beast helmet type deal where the headmaster fits inside.

Wolfman Jake wrote:If this Hasbro Transformers Subscription Service thing turns out to be real, maybe that's where Hasbro intends to release what we would have liked to have seen at the tail end of Titans Return? It might also be where some more of the planned box sets end up, split up, of course, as seems to be the case with Titans Return Arcee with Titan Master Ultra Magnus. My guess is that Hasbro wants to debut this idea at HasCon, but didn't have enough time to plan out new and worthwhile figures for this service, so they picked from the end of what was originally planned for Titans Return, and just pushed up Power of the Primes to make sure new product was on shelves for the holiday shopping season. Slugslinger probably barely made the cut in Wave 6 just to let consumers complete the Decepticon Targetmaster trio without having to invest in this whole new premium distribution channel.
If Arcee with Ultra Magnus are the "preview" for this service, with their availability at HasCon meant to entice people to sign up for the full service, I would expect at least another Titans Return deluxe figure with the "Firepower" die-cast Titan Master paired with it. It would be a great place to put in some potentially one-shot molds too, like Apeface and Snapdragon, since Hasbro can charge a higher price for molds that aren't likely to be reused. Likewise, some more remolds/repaints into the Autobot Targetmasters would be a smart move too. Maybe they could be paired up with some of the remaining expected Titan Masters, like Toraizer and Grotesque.

I could totally be wrong but I don't see a subscription-like service qualifying as a "wide" release.

This right here.
Once I realized the Horrorcon heads only look good from one direction and that Titan Masters are too small to do it better, I figured animal helmets were the answer. I really thought Six Shot was a preview of this the way the Titan Master slips into the wolf head, but apparently it wasn't meant to be.

When attached backwards like that... they look like a couple of strafing bazookas.GalvatronG1 wrote:

Arcee and Ultra Magnus could be more of an example too, instead of a part of the subscription service proper. They could even come with an advertisement for the subscription figures, complete with a mini catalogue showing off what is to be available. I really hope I'm on to something with this. It seems like a really clever move for Hasbro to make.

Thing is, Sixshot is a Leader-class figure with the plastic and engineering allocations thereof.
To pull that off at the Voyager price point. they'd have to sacrifice an accessory. Otherwise all they could get away with is a flip-out cover panel to try covering the robot face with. And again, that's assuming the Horrorcons were even on the table.
Emerje wrote:That was me, thanks. I actually don't think that looks too bad. They can go back a little further where the halves of the seat are can't they? And what about combined and centered under the cockpit?
