Yes, that's unfortunately a known issue with that mold.

Not sure there's any way to actually fix it, but really there's no point in actually putting the gun there really.

For me, it's more aesthetically pleasing to have that there rather than pegged to the side.

Emerje, I have blocked you since I can't keep up debating you, but I just want to say a few last things because they'll rattle in my head and drive me crazy otherwise:
Decepticon Targetmasters (esp. Scourge) = more prominent & popular than Monsterbots. Also, other 2 Deluxe Monsterbots = only 2 slots, though would still have made the Deluxe price point even more Autobot-dominated.
Sky Shadow is a shoehorn. Thunderwing would be an even worse one and he was already slated for status as a boxset exclusive Titan Master anyway (also why he wouldn't be picked to be a Prime Master in PotP), and it makes no sense to delay Overlord to PotP in favor of a second shoehorn especially since A. he doesn't fit the next line's gimmick for his size class and B. The molds were ready to go, the advertising was for him, and . Also, stop whining aboutt him being a headmaster.
Re: what you said about sticking a robot in a shell not really being the Evolution gimmick: Very true, but the translation of it to modern engineering for the Mega Pretenders would probably necessitate turning it into said gimmick. Also, sculpt can do wonders for the blandness of an inner robot.
Ooh, and your bringing up Takara passing on the Deluxe one? It's the same deal as them passing on the TR one: Doesn't really represent him in their eyes.
Re: Apeface and Snapdragon, you're the one who can't wrap your head around things. Things like the fact that what I was saying was Hasbro evidently did not think it was worth their time developing full-size Horrorcons for Titans Return.

I couldn't agree more. She has a beautiful headsculpt for it being a Titan Master, and the retooling done for her turned out superb.

Anyway, here we go again, typing everything from the start.

TR Chromedome was stupid and boring for me. I felt he was just a Combiner War limb without the combiner peg. TR Mindwipe was stupid and ugly, even for me, so much so that I almost sell it to my geek shop. But then, I had the G1 originals in hands. I found them brilliant and bought them full price. This made me look back at the TR updates and I realised how amazing they truly were. As if the "awesome aura" of the G1 figures "bled" on the TR versions, turning "meh" figures into amazing ones!

As for that Hulk, he IS a pretender! The original "inner bot" is Bruce Banner. I managed to fit perfectly a minicon inside so not "Pretender Hulk" is a thing! I posted pictures on the Pretender thread but Photobucket ate them...

I was just notified of other Transformers news from BBTS when I noticed this page:

Transformers Titans Return Deluxe Wave 6 Set of 3 $56.99

Slugslinger is not being sold separately, probably to keep BBTS from having a huge overstock of Kup and Roddy.

Yes. There's 2 clip points on the translucent canopy, that serve no real purpose in any other mode , and two clip/tabs on the underside of the gun, that again serve no purpose anywhere else.

Can't find the instructions, but I believe the gun is shown there in Jet mode as well. It just doesn't clip there securely.

So I picked up TR Getaway last night. He's been at the store for 4 months. Well, one was, but he finally sold and they restocked with more wave 3, so I decided to get him. Got him with the purpose of giving him a new head to be a full body version of a different titan master.

Been sort of disappointed. Siren did not work for me, and he was the main one I wanted. Repugnus looks just... wow on him. Shuffler and Fangry actually don't look bad, and they are the 2 main competitors for the body now. anyone else have a good combo that could work? I never got Terribull, Crashbash (and his repaint), or Apeface, so do any of those work better?

I find everybody looks good in a Getaway suit. The fact that he's mostly white with primary color stripes makes him perfect for almost all the TMs. Repugnus did spend a good amount of time in the Getaway get up here too.
Loudmouth looks real good on that body.

A bit frustrating. It pretty much immediately pops off for me. In order to take a picture, I'd probably have to take a video and grab a still.

Maybe he'd look best just shoved in the end of a hot dog!

The reason I ask is that only selling them in a package doesn't make sense since they would be left with extra Sligslingers. If I recall, they are going to be 3x Slugslinger, 2x Rodimus and Kup and 1X someone else I'm not remembering right now for the wave 6 cases.

My guess is that an individual listing for Slugslinger will still happen, but it will probably be in lower quantities/limited.

Edit: Hardhead was the one I couldn't remember. As if there aren't enough already clogging the shelves...

This was just from the site. If they have any extra Kup/Roddy from previous cases, they can fill them. Maybe they do have singles of Slugslinger at some point. But, last I looked, there were no single Slugslingers listed on their site. I've been a customer of theirs for many years, and have seen this before. So, my conclusion is based on experience, not any info I received directly from BBTS.

Hmmmm....so Getaway's body makes a good, generic Autobot transtector? Just like Quake is for the 'Cons...perhaps I'll have to get him after all.
