Some years ago, a Hasbro executive found my digibash of my concept on a G1 Arcee based on Blurr. The rest is History.

(That is cool though, now that you mention it! I don't know whether it'd have been intentional on the designers' part, but it's fun to find those little connections.)

Technically, Blurr and Chromedome only share minor parts, which is even more disturbing given Arcee was sweet on Chromedome in The Headmasters...

...Of all things I've ever thought Arcee could be interpreted as, it never once occurred to me that "violently yandere" could possibly be one of them

I wasn't too happy having to wait almost 3 decades for Arcee, either -- but she certainly was worth the wait.

Nobody answered it yet but will TR Arcee remain a Hascon exclusive or will she reach normal retail? Because I ain't paying 100$ for her on EvilBay.

I think she will make an appearance at the Hasbro Toy Shop, Kanra, but I dunno if that's confirmed....

She will be on Hasbro toy shop the 20th of september. While we dont know if she will be ashared exclusive with another retailer, she will never be wide retail like the rest of TR toys.

Ugh.... It's dosent help having to pay 30$ as the base shipping price.

I love Hasbro and I think Joh Warden is a nice guy, but the way he talks is so damn confusing at times that I dont know why people bother asking anything that isn't about how a toy was made.

Here is a snippet of the interview with the brand team and I cant make heads or tails about that last bit, the one with GodBomber. There is cool stuff about magnus Prime though, turns out his is Ginrai in everything but name (for legal reasons).

Speaking of Ultra Magnus, with the box set that has Magnus Prime, is that intended to be a Prime version of Ultra Magnus or a totally new character – the retooled Optimus Prime from the box set? Was he supposed to be Ultra Magnus since his name is Magnus or Optimus Prime?

No he’s not Ultra Magnus. That was when we were going to naming the characters and we couldn’t call him Ginrai, so I wanted to make sure that when we worked with the copyright team, that we chose a name that was accessible to maybe a casual fan? So using a name like Magnus Prime it kind of feels like it’s a step up from Optimus Prime? Our intention was that is essentially Ginrai but without saying it.

Cool, yeah, just a lot of disinformation, especially when it comes to the Wiki because it’s like, they tend to “it’s Magnus Prime put him with Ultra Magnus, put it on his page.”

No it’s not Ultra Magnus. No I would say put him with Optimus Prime, or the Combiner Wars Optimus, like it’s in that zone, or the 2000’s Armada.

So as a followup there definitely was a retool of that earlier base for Optimus Prime, so like he was retooled to combine with the Japanese God Ginrai. Would you recommend that people just order the Japanese God Ginrai, or just hang on? In that set that in Japan had the God Bomber, the one that combines with it. Order the Japanese one or just hold tight?

Well, for the time being I'm assuming there's no plans since that was what they said in another interview not too long ago. Not that I feel like I could reasonably drop import prices on Godbomber (let alone secondary market prices ), but if I did really want Godbomber at this point I'd just get him rather than waiting for a Hasbro import that if we're honest is probably gonna take a long while yet, if at all. (Remembering that the brand road-map is planned out til 2020 at least, so if they're still not sure, that's probably a good sign that it's not going to be a smooth process if they are actually going to try and import it.)

I thought we've been over this? I thought we settled that Scorponok was indeed the last die cast Titan Master, and that Fengul was the partner for Laser Prime?

OK...show me in the rules where it states that you are not allowed to bring up past subjects/topics(that you've already discussed) again...within a thread?(ie as long as it stays within the subject matter of the thread)

I'm gonna guess helmet-and-horns, given what we've seen from the Ultra Magnus (and Thunderwing I suppose) die-cast TMs already. Plus when they end up doing Titan Scorponok in whenever-many years, I assume that's when we'd see his not-helmeted Headmaster form - though whether that'll be as a Titan Master or not is of course debatable given the presumed size of a Titan Scorponok.

anywhoo since we're now on the subject... it DOES feel a bit of a cop-out that we're getting a Titan Master only(in the foreseeable future) fig for Scorpy, with no sign but speculation that somewhere down the line in the far flung future we might...with emphasis on might!...get a Titan Class body for it

but... there have been other TM's still awaiting proper bodies for them to adorn...Brawn(yes! we also got a Legends one...but it didn't have TM head connectivity), Grimlock(unfortunately the POTP one won't have TM head connectivity) & Apeface...to name but a few

I'd say it's all but guaranteed that Scorponok is coming in the next three years or so. We know this (well I guess next really) year's Titan is going to be Predaking, but from what I remember, in interviews Hasbro's design team has indicated that they'll be returning to Omega Supreme and Scorponok not too far in the future - if not outright confirmed that those two are coming next, which they may have actually done, I can't honestly remember.

And sadly, I think most (if not all) of the single Titan Masters released over the course of TR will remain bodiless indefinitely. Much as I'd love a TM-compatible Grimlock or Brawn, I get the feeling that outside of the occasional easter egg on a random toy (see Nitro Zeus) Titan Master sockets are going to be pretty rare, for the next few years at least. Those lonely single-packed guys were always meant to be just that - lonely single-packed guys who could be swapped out onto other bodies. Such is the way of collecting I suppose; can't have everything we want, but we can always make the most of what we do get

Makes sense. Though now i wonder how small his face will be. Lol.

Does that mean there will be another exclusive box set, even if it's just one deluxe again. Who else could it be?
