I'd love to see a modern incarnation of Star Convoy! I've been tempted to get his G1 reissue(?) for some time now.

Interesting, Sabrblade...I'm very curious now!I never read the Marvel UK comics, so all I know is thanks to TFWiki.

Armada Superbase Optimus was essentially a modern Star Convoy. Well, Star Convoy meets PMOP. He has the separate cab robot of PMOP and smokestack guns that are based on PMOPs turrets in shape, and a motor gimmick, long-nosed cab, and base mode designed for the smallest-size figures like Star Convoy.
The other Battlestars also had successor figures in Armada: Overload is Grandus, Jetfire is Sky Garry. They even hook together the same way in vehicle mode.
No, there's also the ittybitty one that comes with Generations Shrapnel.
Frankly I would rather Perceptor be made into Magnificus than Reflector. But then, I am a cartoon fan, so my ideal Generations Reflector would be three Legends-size figures that combined into a camera. Sold as a Voyager if possible, or as a boxset if not.

I want to say they will skip him because they often ignore multiple uses of a mold, like when they skipped Vector Prime & went straight to Astrotrain or passing on Alpha Trion to do Lio Convoy. However, they are reusing the Blitzwing mold to give us G2 Megatron, so I guess you can never be sure with
.

You cut off the part of my post where I acknowledged they DO reuse molds sometimes, like G2 Megatron. My point was that
can be unpredictable.

In fact, Legends G2 Megatron is the real exception here. So is Brainstorm in a sense, but the latter was needed to complete the original Headmaster lineup, whereas Megatron is... not that necessary, unless it was solely for using up the Partner Drone molds and Fangry as Noble/Savage was the perfect fit. Speaking of which, Ptero and Sawback's vehicles are still left...
I'm still holding out for Optimus Primal and Toraizer, please come through for us.

The one I was referring to is a solicited Titan Master Class Optimus Primal, probably the pretool of Apeface. Both Primal and Toraizer were listed on Amazaon a few weeks back.

Archforce is always required.
----------
I was wondering if anyone has tried a hair dryer or hotwater trick on the the Highbrow toy's rotor hub - as loosening the pins a bit might allow them to fold - but applying pressure to them as they are they'd just snap.
I'm curious if anyone had any success with that sort of procedure or if they end up having to shave parts down to get it to work.?
I know they do fold as Ben of Ben's Collectable's fame got one of his rotor hubs to fold without breaking it (not recommended).

Picked up Octone, Twintwist, windblade, and Misfire from walmart today. I am pretty happy with all 3 of them!
One thing I will say right now: Windblade is a lot like CW Ironhide: It's not necessarily a great Windblade toy, but it is a great toy that is Windblade.
And I love how big Twintwist is. He and Topspin to me are the best of the deluxes of the line, with Metalhawk/Triggerhappy being right on their heels

Got Misfire and twintwist today, skipped lame-o topspin hoping I'd find twintwist - who is way cooler - but he is a massive qc eff up, I can't rotate his waist without it flying off his body, go figure, one of the few figures I was looking forward too is of no value now, thanks hasblo.
Misfire is great though, way more character than triggerhappy, love him, that pink is my favorite shade of beige
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

Use a little bit of scotch tape, tissue, or floor polish/nail polish. It'll tighten up the waist and keep that from happening.

My one finger is immobile at the moment. It's the one I usually use for numbers too. Dammit I mean 4!
As for these figures... just WOW.
I will say it with confidence: Octone is the best overall voyager of the entire line. Alpha Trion is still my favorite, but Octone is the best of the line voyager-wise. The robot mode is so awesome, and I love the shade of purple on his head! Tanker mode is as good as Optimus, but the jet mode is actually good, especially when you rotate the windshield backwards like you would have it in robot mode and use it as a thruster. He is so good, and I am glad to have him. Plus, he completes my 6 original Triple changers!!
Twintwist is pretty awesome too. He and Topspin are definitely up there for TR figures of the line, and they are great together as brothers. I like Topspin just a bit more, but Twintwist is fun too. Plus they are so big and chunky, and the shoulder kibble makes Twintwist pretty tall.
Misfire is loud and garish and I love that. The head is pretty good, though the arms in jet mode make me ever so slightly sad, but he's still really fun. And he looks good with Krok and Flywheels. Now give me a Crankcase and Spinister!!
Windblade is something else entirely. As the figure I was originally going to pass on but then decided to get thanks to Burn and Will, she is absolutely gorgeous. This is a great figure, and she looks so good! She has the color balance that a Hasbro toy of her has been lacking, her head is great, all the robot mode detailing is there and perfect, and her jet mode has been so fun to swish around. I think she is my overall favorite pickup of the entire haul. She is simply great and I love her. Now I cannot wait to get PotP Starscream to go with her

Although there are three versions of that thing on shapeways. An animated version, a G1 styled (so basiaclly Animated without the cartoony proportions or shape) smirking and a G1 styled serious, if you so wish to make your own version.

That's more along the lines of something that Fun Pub would have been more likely to have done than the current G1-focused Hasbro team.

One of the bios says one of the Titanmasters can hijack bodies - also colour wise he's similar to Alpha Trion - same ears too.
Not to mention Cogman has the same ability to hijack bodies too.

Use a little bit of scotch tape, tissue, or floor polish/nail polish. It'll tighten up the waist and keep that from happening.
Thanks, yeah, I tried that earlier before venting, I think there's a warp in the mold because it slides out when twisted, and additional friction wasn't helping.
On the plus side, went back and grabbed the other Twin Twist, and as of transforming it a couple times, I'm happy to report that - aside from a frighteningly tight neck slot, which all the figures from this case seemed to have - he is prefect, which is nice, because he and topspin are great all-around figures, who deserved to be enjoyed by everyone.
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.
