I haven't opened up the clones yet, but Slugslinger looks great. As I had read previously from others, the quality is definitely a bit higher with the paint apps & tampos. I thought I would've preferred that G1 visor-look, but he seems a lot more shady with the eye-slits. >) His knee joints could be tighter, but for $15, he's certainly a fun figure if he's on your list.
How are your Slugslinger's fists? Mine are hella loose, and don't really lock the same way Misfire's and Triggerhappy's do. Is it just mine, or widespread?

Can't speak for his copy, but mine aren't exactly loose. They're just not as solid due to how the joint is built.

The Deluxes by and large for TR look great. It's just the lack of cross-play pattern (specific to my preference), has stopped me from getting them. Of course I'll end up with a few because of the box sets, exclusives, and "free" bonuses from TRU. But all that being said, I think many such as you and I consider the 1987 Decepticon Targetmasters to be the "seekers" for that year. Though I wouldn't purchase it, I'd love to see a platinum set of the original 3. However...that fan-made combined mode though *almost* got me to reconsider, until I found that it was not a stable combination.
Also, I'm just curious...does anyone here ever go to unicron.com? I've found its usually a great place, and nicely organized to see pics of the various toys grouped together. It's just that its been falling behind lately.

Dang. Maybe I'll nab a second one.
My Triggerhappy and Misfires' wrists actually have a locking point. My Slugslinger does NOT lock - AND - his right hand falls off relatively easily. It's not Scourge-levels of flop-wrist, but it falls apart... :/

Also goddangit, every time I see a picture of one of the targetmaster trip I get closer and closer to swallowing my pride and forking out the daft kinda money they go for over here. £20+ for a deluxe is ghastly (though even anything over 15 makes me baulk tbh) but triggerhappy is lonely and the other two look so delicious...
I've all but given up on arcee considering I'm yet to hear of any confirmation for a UK release and she seems to be going for leader price or more through import. Hasbro, lads, I love you but sort your problems with distribution (particularly for non-us markets and the old wave skipping habit) before you start chucking around esclusives, please.
