Yeah, but the new will be inspired by IDW Megs. So I guess and hope he has a Cybertronian alt mode.
But the leader was also IDW inspired, partly, to the point of having the extra stickers to give him swirls and an autobot symbol. And plus, he cant be fully IDW, this toy has jet kibble on his legs.
Yup. Black fins on the backs of the ankle area. As small as the fins on G1 Starscream's ankle/foot area.
And he had wings that came out of the back of his upper arms. I want to say they were grey, but I can't remember for sure.
Stuartmaximus wrote:seeing as it's now established that we're getting Sixshot, then why not Quickswitch?
seems daft that they're only giving us one Six Changer, without the other

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Well they could.
We don't know about every toy in the line yet.

Sounds very much like the Generations Blitzwing mold to me.![]()
Can you describe it a bit more, please?
Stuartmaximus wrote:speaking of repaints! & retools! they'll probably continue that trend with this line as they did with Combiner Wars

Sure. I'm not sure what to say though.
It can't be Generations Blitzwing because there's no cockpit on the front. The crotch and stomach area is like a normal G1 look. And while the chest is flat, it looked very big to me. It made me wonder if it contains a gimmick we don't know about yet.
I didn't explicitly see that the headmaster was small, and fit into a larger helmet, but my guess is that's how it worked. The front top of the helmet stuck out further than the face by a bit. It didn't look bad, but it was noticable. I think the forehead had the letter M carved in it.
I think the body had red trim, but not much.
I'm not sure what else to say.

No they won't, it's been said several times in this thread that Hasbro themselves said that they will only repaint figures when it makes sense to.

& since when do Hasbro always stick to what they claim?
look! if you are correct then you can pat yourself on the back![]()
but if your wrong! then i'm sure that you'll be on here protesting against even MORE repaints ect.
i'm sure that the test of time will tell

Could you list them, please? At least the remolds and repaints.
I count Laserbeak as the 1 repaint.
Brainstorm, Rumble/Frenzy, Astrotrain and Soundwave as 4 minor remolds and
PMOP, Chromedome and Fort Max as the 3 pretty extensive remolds.
Maybe you can count Stripes as a major remold, too.

Shared engineering is NOT the same thing as a remold so I count Chromedome As a new mold and I consider brainstorm an extensive remold since the vehicle mode looks very different, that I guess is more in the eye of the beholder. But other than that you got the others right. Stripes is a new mold though too, not sure who you think he's a remold of?

I just meant that MAYBE some people count him as a really extensive remold of Buzzsaw.

There's also the shared thighs and shared guns between Blurr/Brainstorm and Chromedome as a unique category to ones above.william-james88 wrote:Lunatic Prime wrote:steals_your_goats wrote:Out of the 20 figures that we've seen so far 13 of them are original molds, 3 are pretty extensive remolds, 3 are minor remolds and only 1 is a repaint.

Retools: Brainstorm, POMP, Fort Max, Rumble/Frenzy, Soundwave
Redeco/Repaint: Getaway, Magnus Prime (diaclone magnus homage), Astrotrain (he has nothing new over Sentinel Prime), Lazerbeak, as well as upcoming Blue Windblade.
Chromedome himself isnt a retool by any current definition, but is purposefully based off of the Dead End mold.

Just a shared part. Like how certain CW figures have the same wheels and HFG.
