william-james88 wrote:Isnt G2 dragstrip a black redeco of that mold? Otherwise, it could simply be a custom.

I looked it up. Griffin said some fans brought custom figures and he included them in pics to mess with people.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
That's Takara Masterpiece Road Rage.Stuartmaximus wrote:do those customs include Sideswipe too?
coz i was really hoping for a CW Sideswipe

Left of the coffee cup?

Well-spotted! Assuming it's Mirage and not Dead End or some other character, it could be G2 Mirage (http://tfu.info/1995/Autobot/Mirage/mirage.htm) or Electro-Disruptor Ligier (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Mirage_(G1)#Henkei.21_Henkei.21)
Otherwise it could be some other black, white, and red F1 racecar transformer.

Thanks ^^ Sorry, but it was late and I forgot to post a link to where I saw it.
But in this image -> http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2016atf01.jpg it's middle-ish of the shot, and squinting it looks like Mirage's head.
It could possibly be the repaints of Mirage like someone later suggested. But part of me is holding out for hope on Crasher based off the decepticon coloured weapons. And she has been released off Mirage's mould in the past in the classics 2.0/Universe lines.

It was a custom toy that one of the fans brought to the meet, and thought it would be funny to add to the photo to see if anyone would notice it, and think it was another upcoming toy.
william-james88 wrote:Guys, its been confirmed that the toy you see is just a custom, and not any toy we will ever see coming out. Here is the proof from the guy who took the picture:Quote Griffin of Oz:Originally Posted by Thundershot View Post

Sabrblade wrote:Plus, Hasbro most likely would not do anymore GoBot-based toys since doing so would be free advertisement for Bandai's Machine Robo toys. Hasbro wouldn't likely want to advertise their competitor's product. The main reason Movie Fracture happened was cuz Joe Kyde had to find a real world car with that Crasher-esque deco to push for Movie Fracture's getting made, after which he was basically told "We let you do this once, but let's not do it again, 'kay?"
I really wish people would stop bringing up Movie Fracture as a precedent for more GoBot-based Transformers toys when it was an isolated incident. The rights to GoBots are split between Hasbro, Time Warner, and Bandai, and all three parties may not necessarily know who owns what and how much of it, but Bandai at least is known to own the original Machine Robo toys that the likenesses of the Hanna-Barbera GoBots cartoon characters were based on.
Any new toys (Transformers or otherwise) made to resemble the looks of those Bandai-owned toys would be seen as advertising those Bandai-owned toys (regardless of how old they are), so it is highly unlikely that Hasbro would be willing to make any new toys that would bear any direct resemblance to toys belonging to one of their biggest rivals in the toy industry.
Now something like ROTF Deadlift, however, was able to happen since, despite his being a homage to Spoons, the homage wasn't a direct one since, unlike with Fracture and Crasher, Deadlift's deco wasn't laid out like Spoons' deco. He's just an orange forklift and anyone can make an orange forklift toy. The "MR-34" number on him is the only thing that really attempts to tie him to Spoons, but unless one knew about the significance of that number, most folks wouldn't twice about it, making it more of a small wink to the fans than an obvious giveaway.
In the end, Spoons and Deadlift both just happen to be orange forklifts with the number 34 on them, whereas Fracture was an obvious Crasher homage that Joe Kyde had to use a real world car deco to get around that fact.

Early last year.

Also, I dont think any of us noticed but Fort Max' legs now have proof that they open:
Odd how none of the promotional material shows the use of this. There is hope for a city yet!
