I can easily see Perceptor being a leader class if only due to the fact what he transforms into could be considered a 'base mode' to connect to Blaster and Max and all that.

So in theory, we could have blaster, soundwave, prime and perceptor as bases to add to fort max. the mighty fortress would have 2 different boombox hangouts, some sort of combobled trailer, and a science lab.

Anyone else find that kinda awesome?

If they could make the lab(or some other base mode) a tower then I'd be thrilled. We need some verticle bases to attach to Max!

That might make for sense for the line though I guess if they were to give him a microscope and tank mode if he were a voyager, since all the voyagers in Titans Return are triple changers.

I was saying that several pages ago. 3 uses of a mold is pushing a bit here. I'd just like a new one instead of a 3rd retool

Well, it seems like a great, open-ended mold that has a lot of different design potentials, and I wouldn't mind so much if they actually painted them worth a damn

My thoughts exactly. Besides one remold and a rumored remold is hardly something to bitch about when there's this many new molds.

Still, like Combiner Wars, I'd say it's a safe bet we'll have two versions of each mold, body and separate head. Blurr has proven that by reusing Stylor.

Indeed, as I said, I don't mind re-uses (to an extent) so long as they look nice (which is seemingly a lot to ask for for some of these figures), but if we're already this early in, and already hearing about third re-uses, that's when (in my mind) we need to step back and say this might need to be reigned in a little. But you probably know more than I do at this point. That was all I was reallly trying to say.

Honestly, I don't really care if they reuse the heads. I mean...they're Headmasters. Not much you can do with 'em.

I do agree with this. Some molds make the lack of colors really work (see Quillfire), but others really need that bit of paint, and it is kinda sad to see the lack of paint on some figures deserving of it. Holding RiD Gigatron makes me realize how little paint is used nowadays. Heck, even with RotF leader prime, Generations Drift, etc to compare to there is a lack of paint. They hardly even paint the rear windows or anything on the back of a car mode.

Now mind you, some have really worked, as I look at my First Aid and Defensor Chest, but others really seem let down by paint.

So yes, I'd prefer new and better paint jobs.
