Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'
Sabrblade wrote:OMG! Revolver is based on Chromedome's friend Jack from The Headmasters cartoon, whom Sixshot once captured and then planted a bomb on for a suicide mission.

The tall shoulders. Indicative of one particular version of Octane...
We're getting Tall Tankor
(yes I realize the classics toy had tall shoulders but why would they specifically take inspiration from that one deluxe toy and not a fictional representation or his original toy)

Adding onto this like seconds after I posted but I just realised that Tankor also has the exact same fake chest windows this Prime does... and something that looks like the exact same hinge

I need this in my life.
Tbh everyone's got a lost light crew shelf; but I'm also starting to want a Blurr's Bar shelf. Because that's basically Cybertron's answer to the Lost Light crew - their own ragtag bunch of loveable nerds. Blurr, Slug, Tankor, Tankor, Waspinator... do we include Sky-Byte and Jazz since they went to earth? We need a Squawkbox...

I believe that's a non-production color prototype.Deadput wrote:Burn wrote:This whole "let's make some triple-changers OTHER characters before repainting them as traditional triple-changers characters" is freaking stupid.
I know people are going to attack me over that, I know people are going to call me a Geewunner, but come on! That Optimus Prime looks freaking stupid. "Plane"? ugh ... okay, if you want to call it that fine, but in Starscream colours? Come on ...
What's wrong with Prime being a triple changer?
(...)
You might not like it and thats fine but I don't get how it's stupid...
I think he means that that the jet/tanker truck and tank/fighter jet should have been released as Octane and Blitzwing first, rather than later. Call it a spoiler for the ones who are know-it-alls when it comes to Triple Changers. Speaking of spoilers:
Hey there, Blitzwing, like your new job?
