Yeah I can see where your coming from. I'm happy to complete the trio but they do just stand on my 84' con shelf. I used to have the fansproject ones and played with them a lot but sold them off over a year ago when the officials were coming but they do just stand there. They're awesome and fun but the scale is a bit "eh" I think my mentality will change once kickback is out however

I'm finally all caught up with the posts and I'm pretty happy with what we've seen so far. As far as this wave goes I'll most likely be going Hasbro for everything except maybe Megatron and definitely Sixshot. While he does look great and I love how he's retained all his original modes ( submarine is totally the gun mode just upside down and I think it's brilliant) I just can't help but notice a lack of detail on him. The plastic colors look fine but there just seems to be something missing, especially on his robot mode chest.

Ptero is cool looking and I'm really liking the mini dinobots, I personally think it's a tease for things to come in the final leg of prime wars. I also can foresee this mold being reused for the rumored titan master in the speed set Thunderclap.

Primes robot mode and truck mode look amazing but the jet is meh. I'm hoping the wings can go up a bit father. I'll be getting both him and octane but I hope they remold the shoulders instead of just repainting it like they did with astrotrain.

All in all I'm loving this line and I think this wave is the best one so far, now all we need to see is the rest of the deluxe figures.

It's probably the big wings that used to be there, but seriously, this guy is some killer bang for your buck, he seems pretty far removed from the leader class scam that was jetfire and the meeker seekers

Oh trust me I love fangry but I saw a lot of other comments on him and not many for Ptero so I wanted to talk about him. I do wonder who they're going to repurpose his beast as. That dragon mode is adorable and the gargoyle(?) mode is pretty kick ass.

Well, some interesting reveals.

Fake Megatron is an easy pass, Blitzwing will be an easy buy.

Fake Optimus is an even easier pass. Ugly as hell. Octane, I'll have to wait and see what the final version looks like.

Sixshot looks amazing, but I have been pretty disappointed with the quality of Hasbro's last few Leader class figures. I'll wait and hear in hand reviews, or wait for a Takara version, or a really good sale.

Hot Rod is okay, but not different enough from his Classic version to make me want to put up with the dumbass headmaster gimmick on a non headmaster. I'd really rather have a new Rodimus Prime figure come out.

I'll continue to ignore completely the stupid headmaster's without real bodies.

I feel you there. Thankfully the sub mode just looks kind of like the gun mode flipped about 180 degrees and called something else here.

Also, can you blame Hasbro though? I think that's why we haven't gotten a bigger G1 style Shockwave in forever as well. I mean having a gun mode is kind of like "taboo" now basically unless it's fantastical, orange, bright, flashy, and very much in-line with "safety first".

Thank you for your opinion that a toy line that's entire theme is about changing is forbidden to ever change. That just leaves more for the people who don't mind it and are okay with stuff like this to buy them.

Ah there's nothing like waking up and seeing tons of Transformers news.

At first I thought I'd skip all of the Titanmaster single packs but after seeing more of them I think I'm going to be buying most of them; including Lione and Fangry and maybe Swoop.

Kickback: Looks cool. I already have Shrapnel and Bombshell so I'll pick him up to.

Hot Rod: Probably my favorite of the reveals. I know what you're thinking-" What about SixShot?", we'll get to that in a minute. Everything works for me and it's all an improvement over the Classics figure.

Optimus Prime: Won't be buying it as Prime. Ever since getting the Classics Optimus mold, I don't feel like I need to get another CHUG Prime.(Yes I realize this homaging G2 Prime but I still don't need it.) And I might not even get it as Octane/Tankor IF someone releases a Scourge/Black Convoy repaint. Overall he looks pretty solid figure , even the jet mode is neat in a ridiculous kind of way.

SixShot: Don't get me wrong I like him, I really do but personally I like Hexatron's asthetic more. I've been thinking about making a big purchase and getting him but I may just save my money and get this Titans Return one. I mean how else am I supposed to pay for the relentless onslaught of awesome that is Titans Return?

Honestly instead of making a detailed post about every flaw you feel about each figure and calling characters "fake" you could just saved time and posted:

I don't acknowledge fiction that didn't appear in the ation after school.

But seriously, I never got into the additional fiction from overseas. I can see the appeal of heads warping for others, but for me it does nothing. And I really want a new Brawn.

All these beasts but none of the Headmasters themselves are animals. I know the relative flatness of the faces would make it hard, and it's not G1 or anything, but I'd be ALL OVER swapping everybody's mugs for animal heads.

Why are some people angry about angry about some characters being Headmasters when they weren't in G1? This line isn't a recreation of the original Headmasters line; it is a recreation of the Headmasters gimmick as a concept.

Is it wrong that I want to give up MP collecting to go back to CHUG? No? Ok good. All of these reveals make me want to spend all of the money. It is ridiculous.

I think people have very strong feelings about things they love. Want an example? Watch the hundreds of YouTube videos on the new Ghostbusters movie.

So, yeah, I understand the feelings involved in making non-headmasters headmasters. Yet, now that I have a bunch in hand, they are a lot of fun! I just need to rectify things in my head-canon, and everything will be alright!

This is starting to be my thinking on a lot of stuff. Save the money to pick up more bots from other lines. I hate the idea and love the idea at the same time! So, as some of my friends might say, "Welcome to the struggle".

Hot Rod's my personal favourite of the reveals as well, Sureshot. Sixshot is probably a more impressive toy and I think I'd want to get him at some point... buuuut I don't have a connection to the character and I've been reading MTMTE lately, which has boosted Rodimus to one of my favourite Transformers (and one I personally relate to a lot). And this one looks waaaaay better than the Classics version so I'd be very stoked to pick him up.
