Looking at Optimus's airplane mode, you know what it reminds me of with its bright colors and not-so-realistic design? A Unicron Trilogy-style altmode. I'm now almost sad that it's a toy of G1 Optimus and not of UT Optimus.

Rejoice! Did you read up on Takara's fiction explaining these headmasters? There were mini black holes caught onto the autobots and decepticons an they were going to die as they kept geting sucked in. So, as their bodies shrunk, they were saved and reformatted into heads and then given Transtector bodies built by Tarantulus.

Sure, but the current comics (which people also follow and make reference to fiction backing up the toys) also have Tarantulus as part of the G1 landscape so its fine either way you look at it. Its pretty much the same character anyway.

So im guessing fangry isnt getting a body, that sucks i was really hoping he'd get a new figure. Not really liking how the true headmaster characters arent getting real figures and non head master characters are, should be the other way around or everyone should get a body. But Hot Rod looks better than i thought he would, still would prefer a more G1 animation accurate look but it could be worse. Love the alt mode, main reason ill get him.
Sixshot though looks amazing, i dont usually buy leader figures but hes one i will be getting, always wanted a G1 sixshot this will be a great substitute.

She was released at retail. I saw her and Chromia at Walmart. It was the tail end of that line before CW, so distribution wasn't great. She also showed up a few months ago at Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I don't know how wide a chain that is. I don't know if she showed at any of the other market 6 retail locations. She was also available on HTS and Amazon.

I've got the generations Arcee and MMC Azalea, so I wouldn't be likely to buy a deluxe Titan Master Arcee.

I might buy a Voyager class Titan Master Arcee, though.

Then you wouldn't have to work the Princess-Leia-Bun helmet into the Titan Master, it could pop up from her back and snap onto whatever head was placed on her shoulders. Making Arcee a triple changer also introduces some interesting possibilities.

Wait for the Takara version in that case. They'll undoubtedly give Hot Rod a cartoon-based deco. Otherwise, the MP Hot Rod would be more what you're looking for.

Yes she was. I saw her and Chromia one time ever at a Walmart I rarely shop at. Picked up Chromia at the time but passed on Arcee since I wanted (and eventually got) the Takara version instead.

Yeah, half-tempted to get that "sampler" pack. I don't think I actually intend on getting that many Headmasters, but it sure would be fun to have a Rung and Cy-Kill to mess with.

I saw that exact same stuff at a Toys R' Us about 15 minutes away from me. I bought the Titanmasters, but not Fort Max. I just can't afford Fort Max right now.

I just now got around to all of the reveals and I'm pretty happy with them.
-Optimus is not very appealing to me because I dislike his head and alt mode, but I appreciate how they were going for a different take on him then the typical Optimus we normally get.
-Kickback looks awesome
-Hot Rod looks great but I wish his head was actually round (but that's just how it goes with TR)
-Six Shot certainly looks interesting.

Overall I'm pleased.

So Cary, did you buy Fort Max?
I'll probably get him eventually but not yet just due to price

Fellow Seibertronians, it would seem that the biggest Titan has made it state-side, fellow user's ScottyP and carrytheone have both found Fortress Maximus at their local Toy'R'Us' for $149.99 a piece. carytheone found his at Toy'R'Us in Baton Rouge, La. and ScottyP found his at Toys'R'Us in Cary, NC.
