I'm pretty sure Stu is talking about how Sixshot is in Wave 3 (which we did already know about) after Soundwave, and is hoping that Sixshot will arrive in the UK soon since Wave 2 has just been released there, and that was what he was pointing out about the article.

I wouldnt be surprised if he's released around the christmas season.

well seeing as how quickly and recently Soundwave came out here in the UK...even before the US, and we're not even into September yet, i wouldn't be surpised if Sixshot was out even before then(or at least hoping)

coz the releases here in the UK are coming fairly quick! some places....like TRU...only have Wave 1 Titan Master figs, while supermarkets like Asda, have Wave 2 Titan Masters in(the one with Apeface) and some places like The Entertainer, Hamleys Toys, A1 Toys, Smyth's Toys don't have any of the Titan Master figs in (A1 Toys have the SDCC Fort Max & the Sentinel, Brainstorm & Windblade 3 pack) Smyth's have Leader Blaster, Soundwave & PMOP, Voy Sentinel & Galvatron(with Astrotrain & A3 supposed to be arriving this coming Saturday) & Deluxe Blurr, Scourge, Hardhead & Skullsmasher

so i'm fairly hopeful about Sixshot arriving on store shelves here in the UK at least before Christmas

If I had to guess, I would say that Wave 3 will start trickling out in November, with some more sightings in December, culminating in a full release come January or February.

I always thought that Hasbro didnt care about 3rd party and didnt have time for them since its such a niche part of the fandom with so much product. Buuuuuuuuut, this 3rd aprty Alpha Trion is really hard not to see as a source of "inspiration". Its kinda like when thinking of scenarios where Adnan Syed isn't the killer, things are just too coincidental to not be related.

I definitely see resemblances. Hasbro can't not look at 3P, I don't buy that. But I don't know how much they concern themselves with it generally.

And my two cents: both carrier modes use the same basic layout and floor plan, a very generic one from what I've seen. It's also similar to current aircraft carriers, just with the tower enlarged and moved to the back center for a symmetric look.

I definitely see the resemblance. It's also kind of a Standard starship design.

The resemblance likely hews from both the 3rd party toy and the TR Voyager taking inspiration from the same source: BotCon 2007 Alpha Trion's Cybertron Vector Prime altmode.

About Alpha Trion: I don't mind the star-ship thing alt mode, but it isn't very appealing to me. I am way more excited about Broadside. Hopefully Galvatron also gets re-released with a better face.

I would have figured seaspray would be a repaint of broadside, hopefully its not a re-release of the legends one. Id love to see a re-release of the old generations legion one along with his wavemates. Blitzwing and octane were so obvious the second i saw megs & optimus, now im torn between who to get. Megs looks great but that mold is perfect for blitzwing and its the same with prime and octane.
