Very curious indeed.
Even more curious - I contacted Hasbro to ask about this and this is the reply I got:
Daniel,
I apologize for the information you've located on the internet; however, the Titans Return Brainstorm is not an exclusive to any specific retailer. The information in the link you provided is not correct.
Regards,
Veronica

Thank you for your email.
I understand and appreciate your frustrations and will be happy to check into this further for you. Please keep in mind all information, including which retailers the product will be released to, and release dates is always subject to change. However, I've shared this email thread with our team and will notify you once I hear back.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Regards,
You will see that there is no name attached to the response - has Veronica been 'disappeared'? Will we ever find out who they really were? How far does this story go? And will Europe ever see Brainstorm in any form of retail? (No.) These are the questions we are trying to answer.

Might.

That bad of a misplacement?

I more meant from the whole "no exclusivity deals" angle, but that works too.

So, in conclusion, Outer Space will probably see brainstorm before Europe does.

Flashwave wrote:When the Norfolk Southern Railroad bought half of Conrail (Actual trains, people. 12 feet tall, 90 feet long) they found a locomotive in a railyard. This engine, they could tell had something wrong with it, and was supposed to go back to its owner to be fixed. But they couldn't find the documentation that said WHERE it was going. So they looked at the side of the engine, and said, "Well, it says "Ontario Central" Ontario, that's in Canada. So we should send this engine to Canada and let them figure it out."
And they did. A few weeks later, this travelling locomotive made it across the border. And then someone figured out that Ontario Central was a small railroad in Ontario County, NEW YORK.
So the moral of this story, is that if someone can "misplace" something that is 12 feet tall and 90 feet long, someone can misplace a box the size of a space heater. Never underestimate the power of Stupid People who think they are "helping".
YoungPrime wrote:>:oP Hmmm......
Nope, still don't believe it. He could've grabbed Brainstorm online and took a picture of him with the receipt of another TF purchase (It's not like the reciept says Brainstorm). Smartphones are more common than wallets, so why not take a picture of some Brainstorms on actual pegs in a Walmart aisle?
Dr Va'al wrote:BREAKING #BRAINGATE NEWS! Seibertronian correspondent Bronzewolf has been digging in the archives for more clues on the situation, and a new, shocking, startling, horrifying image has emerged. Are you ready for this? The image can be found below...
You have been warned. This is much bigger than any of us imagined, and much more timeconsuming than we first thought. We should probably move back on topic, and not derail this furth---
Speaking of derailment, it appears that a new connection between space, trains, spacetrains, and Brainstorm distribution has been found by Flashwave.Flashwave wrote:When the Norfolk Southern Railroad bought half of Conrail (Actual trains, people. 12 feet tall, 90 feet long) they found a locomotive in a railyard. Is Brainstorm in fact spacetrain Sentinel Prime in disguise? What is the function of a space heater? What if the box is in fact The Briefcase? Open your eyes, sheeple!

Kurona wrote:And what does Trainstorm sound like? Transform. It's all coming full circle.
But it can't come full circle quite yet. After all, there is not a single side to this - there are three sides. Veronica, Brainstorm, Walgreens. What else has three sides? A triangle. And you know what has three points of ball-jointed articulation?
That's right, Arcana. Arcana whose name was changed to Teslor. But what does Arcana sound like? Veronica. It sounds like Veronica. Don't deny it, you're wrong, it sounds like Veronica. Veronica who removed Brainstorm from Walgreens and put him in Walmart. And, if Veronia is in fact Arcana, that means the head can be factored out of the equation - obviously, something headless has to do with it here.
But this means there's a space left for an exclusive, doesn't there? Well, put it all together. We have the three, that's obvious. 1987, the year Brainstorm came out, is 1984 if you take three away from it. In addition, there were four classic Autobot headmasters. Brainstorm was the only one taken away from retail, and when you take Brainstorm away, what are you left with? Three classic Autobot Headmasters. Clearly, four has something big to do with it here.
Now what waves come in four? Deluxe waves come in four, but as Brainstorm make five, that is obviously scrubbed off the table. Now, Titan Master waves come in four. How many Titan Master waves are officially revealed so far? That's right, three. Three waves of four. And all of them are characters that people want to get actual bodies for - except Sawback of Wave three. And, since Brainstorm was originally taken away from the four, that means we can see the Wave 3 as just Three needing bodies - Ptero (swoop), Fangry and Overkill. Why Overkill? Because he was a redeco of Grimlock in Universe, just like he's a redeco of Clobber (grimlock) here. Therefore, it only makes sense for him to get a full t-rex body.
So what we have here:-
-Titan Masters
-Veronia the Headmaster substituted out, leaving a headless body
-Three
-Four
-Three
-Four
-Three
-Four
-Va'al
-Three
-Four
What does this all mean?
WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN???
I'll tell you what it means.
IT MEANS WE ARE CLEARLY GETTING FULL BODIES FOR THE TITAN MASTERS EXCLUSIVE TO Walgreens.
