Whats weird is that in the IDW comics, the Duocons were a group of 2 individual robots rather than one both that turns into 2 individual alt modes.
Huh? Flywheels was a Triple-changer and Battletrap hasn't really appeared yet.

I am mixing up then. Who was the one that got stuck phased to the ship in the begining of MTMTE ? Didnt they call themselves duocons?

Called it. those are the duobbots, not the cons. Battletrap has yet to appear and Flywheels died after being shown to be a triple changer
Kurona wrote:Nah, those were the Duobots. Completely original characters for the story.

Not the point. What I meant was that the idea of a duoTF is different in the comics than it is in the Allspark Almanac, or so it seems.

I know what you mean, but the way you worded it made it sound like Flywheels was killed for being a triple-changer.
"As decreed by the will of Megatron; the only Decepticon triple-changers allowed are Blitzwing, Astrotrain, Tankor and sometimes Megatron. You desecrated that will the day you decided to have both jet and tank modes." ~ Tarn, high on Nucleon, probably

I mean, they scrapped the base mode with Sixshot because he has so many modes, so I'm thinking the 2 alt modes are gonna make Overlord special and he won't need to have a base mode since the titan master can pilot 2 separate vehicles. Plus, he never had a base mode, so that would be ok by me.

Erm.....wasn't someone supposed to be repainting Terri-Bull/Skytread as Flywheels:-?

Skytread is Flywheels (or, at least, his head); it's his new name

hmmm, maybe they could repaint Megatron/Blitzwing as Flywheels(Skytread) main body for the head to attach to

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Bradimus wrote:I saw two Scourges at Walmart today with a difference in packaging. One Scourge was packaged with a clear elastic band securing the head in place. There was a Blurr on the shelf packaged the same way. The other Scourge did not have the elastic band and tapping on the package I could tell it had the "bobblehead" connection. The packaging information on the bottom was the same so unless someone here can tell us otherwise I'm guessing Hasbro made a quick-change with their packaging. But I don't know so I figured I'd let you know what I saw.
Double-check and look specifically for the production code that's punched into the back of the card instead of printed. If they're different, think you could get them and compare? Packaging variants usually indicate running changes, Generations Brainstorm had exact the same thing happen.

Will, I am going to say I'm really glad to see you talking so much more about the comics now, I just keep getting confused and a bit lost

I'm hoping that if Hasbro is smart enough, they'll keep the purple highlights/accents on a possible Blitzwing to a relative minimum, so people can make their own skywheels figure, if they so choose - be an incredibly smart business strategy in order to get the collectors that already bought and are happy with gen blitzy, to shell out for another iteration of blitzwing plus an additional titan master
