TFA Swoop is a great figure.
The character model, which the toy gets down nicely, is a nice contrast to the hulking proportions of Grimlock and Snarl/Slag.

The "red-orange/Campbell's Tomato Soup" colour I see in all the photography for the figure isn't present in person. It's actually a flat red just like in the G1 Cartoons! It's not the crimson of the MP-01, 04, and 20th Anniversary "Battle Damage" Edition.
I love this guy. It has a very cartoon vibe(well, it IS the DVD edition for the 80s movie, afterall) and I think I like this just as much as the MP-01. The MP-01 has the "Takara produced, Japanese toy, realistic paint apps" thing going on but the DVD Edition figure is a darn good representation(aside from the yellow paint on the cheek guards) of the G1 cartoon character model. The blue gun...is fixable. I only wish Peter Cullen's voice was on the little voice stand component.
I'm actually a little disappointed that the colour of the figure isn't the Tomato Soup colour as I was really looking forward to having an OP with that colour. Oh well.

I'm so tempted to open Electro Disruptor Ligier and Strafe, but since I have regular versions of the same molds I guess I really should keep them MISB.

That's what I'm doing. Hell, I didn't even Fracture because she's relatively rare. I'm content with regular old Mirage and Cyclonus as my "play" figures. This way, if I snap somebody's limb off, I'm out $10-$20 instead of possibly hundreds. i.e. Noisemaze Production Type will never come out of that box, and he may end up getting AFA graded.

Yeah, I only have Universe Drag Strip so I momentarily freed him from his plastic and cardboard prison just to examine the figure. I put him back and thanks to the nicely designed "Special Edition" black box packaging, he looks good as new and it's a great display package. I plan on getting Mirage or Ligier and Fracture in the future but only Mirage is going to be in my regular display figure roster. Fracture and Drag Strip will stay in their "stasis chambers".

I'd like to see some pictures of Noisemaze Production Type's box. Also, where did you find that? I don't know anything about it, other than it's super rare. I have the Ratbat version of that mold.

It was basically a saved search on eBay that fired on Friday morning. I spent Friday obsessing over whether or not I could afford it, and how to get my wife to not divorce me instantly.

I agree, his transformation could've been explained as a technical genius invention lol. While on the other hand, the Universe Starscream's back won't clip onto his chest.

Yeah, 07 Barricade is really cool. I love how Frenzy is stored in alt mode. It's like the automobile version of the Tapecons' storage in Soundwave.
I love U Legends BB. Having it takes me back to when I was a kid and got BB for my first Transformer.

Yup. It was a hand-me-down but in decent condition from what I can remember. It still had all 4 tires!.
