Picked up Voyager Mindwipe yesterday for 25% off, sweet! Haven't had a chance to open him yet though. I'm just glad I was able to get him on sale, Voyagers are pretty expensive in Canada even with the dollar so high.

Lucky for me I don't want Skystalker, haven't seen him anywhere lately.

An apparent pricing error at KMart gave me a ROTF Recon Ironhide for $15! He's getting scavenged for parts- my 2 Brawns will share his weapons, and gray ROTF Ironhide will get whatever cool parts I can transfer over, like the bumper crossbow.

Nah, I'm good. I'm not a fan of the weird offset knees, and the rest of him's not exciting enough to do it for me. I usually limit myself to G1 homages, or if it's really cool I make an exception, in the case of Mindwipe and a few others.

On the topic of Mindwipe, I finally got a chance to open him this morning and he's definitely cool, but for some reason I'm slightly underwhelmed. I think I was expecting a more complex transformation. Not to say it's simplistic, I guess it's just easier than I was expecting. He certainly looks cool though. His legs are quite well-articulated, and he's well-balanced so he can pull off some good poses. I slightly wish his weapons were removable, or his wrists could move more, and his head and upper torso seem big in comparison to the rest of him, but those are small nitpicks in grand scheme. Still worth the purchase, especially because he was on sale.

I missed the UPS guy yesterday... but finally it's here! My Warbot Defender came in the mail. I'm impressed! Great figure, articulation, blah blah blah, the whole shebang. My only trouble? Trying to put an Autobot logo sticker on straight on to his chest. Bah, I'm terrible at putting on tiny stickers.

A collector on another board gave me an unbelievable deal on an original G1 Star Convoy, complete minus some stickers, a broken tread, and the black gun- all I paid was shipping! And when I got the box, he had included an extra one! I salvaged a decent tread off the second one, now I have a beautiful Star Convoy, never thought I'd have one like this. Thanks Andy!

I got these all at my neiborhood farmers market for under 100 total. Hee hee. I'll have pics soon. I live mp optimus he weighs a ton and is amazingly accurate to the cartoon.

Sorry no pics, but in regards to TF related stuff, my gf gave me an Easter basket with Transformers grass in it (instead of the shredded green stuff usually in it, it was gray with autobot and decepticon logos), and in it along with candy there was a TF comic book, and a mini-kite with movie Ratchet's face on it, lol
