Yeah, you're right about both of them. I've got a Rampage coming to complete the set, and I think I spent just a hair over $100 for it. This fall, my main goal is to get the box set (already have the box and foam thanks to Delicon, so I just need the figures ;-P) while the getting is good.

The only one I've opened so far is Valkyrie. I'm mildly disappointed, for reasons I shall go into in the appropriate thread. I'm really excited for the rest though, especially Defender & Hybrid Convoy.

Expanding on this...

Valkyrie - Cheap quality, nice sculpt but poor locking, not enough leg articulation. Wait for a sale if you really want it, if you don't care too much, don't bother.

Defender - Effing win, it's so good I'm almost like 'yeah, I knew it would be good *shrug*. I think I waited too long to ship it, my excitement died down a little. There's a few quibbles I could give (weird ankles, transformation's intricate to an almost annoying point), but anything that needs to be said has been already. If you love Springer and/or 3rd Party figures, buy it!

Energon Skyblast - Heh, old school. Liking the design and the cool 'early automorph' gimmick, but obviously the articulation in the legs is kind of poor. What can I say, it's an early scout, it's good for what it is. I bought it for the Jetfire/Skyfire homage.

Alternators Swindle - I forgot he had a new head mold! Would be kind of lame if he didn't, actually. Good figure. If you were only able to get one version of this mold and had no character preference, I'd say go with this one, because a) The mold differences are enough to make it more interesting than Hound, b) Swindle is easy/cheap to find. Good buy!

Hybrid Style G1 Convoy - Surprise winner of this haul. I knew he was good, but I didn't know he was THIS good. Sure, the alt mode looks a little funky, but he more than makes up for it in every other way. An amazing figure, all around. The only complaint I really have is that I wish the jetpack could store inside the trailer for that classic alt-mode look. Could use a better place to put the hose thing too. And a launching Roller, but now that's really getting picky.

Ravage was just waving at me, right now he's getting to know Universe Ravage. Smolder is pretty neat, but I only got him because he was a fire truck, and G1 Hot Spot was my first big Combiner piece (Blades had the honor of being the very first piece). Can't wait for Generations (Thrust!) and the PCC 5-packs.

As for me, I went and picked up HA Jazz and a Generations Thrust to replace my first one. His feet joints are stressed and his nose has a noticable paint chip. Gonna crack open Jazz later tonight. I also pre-ordered my Halo:Reach special edition Xbox 360. Cuz I dumbs. Now, I'll have 2. I'm a big Halo fan and have the other 2 (original Xbox and 360) Halo edition boxes so far. I felt compelled. Again, cuz I dumbs.

Just picked up some RPMs. normally wouldn't but I found them at the Dollar Tree, so they were only a buck each. They had nearly the coomplete series, no Prime though, for a dollar each you really can't complain.

I got my knock off Gen 1 Headmaster head boxset of 10 heads today!

Compaired Kirk and Lionz to the two original heads and there are differences which are quiet distinct to tell them apart(apart from the originals have takara markings and the copys not)

Human Alliance Jazz, oh yeah! They had 4 at the Target I went to, but 3 of them had varying amounts of light scratches and scuffs. Take a good look at the roof and hood before you buy.
