You know, I wish I didn't have to come back on that "That'll last me for a while". Then again, if I stopped hunting I wouldn't have found these gems:

ROTF Depthcharge
ROTF Swerve

I had hoped on finding Swerve forever, seeing him in a non-toy store was complete surprise :)
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Jelze Bunnycat =:3

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

So I found a couple of KO gems at my local Biglots. A KO G1 Devestator in the G2 Colors! The individual bots are crap, Scrappers arms are backwards, Hook dosn't have a head, and Mixmaster is shorter/smaller than Bonecrusher so combined Devastator has this lopsided stance. But over all I'm satisfied. Especially for only $8 bucks. I plan on going through and removing all the decals and replacing them with ones from reprolables. Maybe working on fixing some of the quirks as well...

The other was this 4 pack aircraft set that. Are basically Duocons/Multiforce characters. But I've never seen the molds before so I'm not sure if their KO's of actual characters or if the company designed them.

I'll try to get pictures of them tomarrow. But one has a A-10 as it's upper body and a F-117 as it's lower. the other is a F-16 for the legs and a Hind helecopter for the torso. The latter one is utter crap, but the Warhog/Nighthawk one is quite awesome.

Did Family Dollar raise their price to $5 each for these figs. ?

Back to topic:

hftd barricade and side swipe. I couldnt pay money for cracked up BB.

hftd brawl / jolt. I cant believe how disgusting the color on the BB and Grindor was

Also got a TRU exclusive silver stormtrooper LEGO minifig.
I dont think ill get the new AT-AT for $99, just not the same as the big ass M. Falcon I got for $10 more.

I hope to snag a Masterpiece Grimlock tomorrow if they get a shipment.

Still $3.50. I'm tempted to go back and pick up the single carded Minicons from the 12 pack.

Also, got:

Double Clutch and Rallybots (I can see the promise, but they just fell short.)
Mudslinger and Destructicons (Awesome set. Commander is solid in all three modes! Drones are the best yet!)

Usual prices that TRU has(Animated was at full price, not clearance, but ALL TFs were 33% off, so Blitzwing was $16 after taxes). Mine isn't actually AT an outlet mall or regular mall, just a strip mall next to a Petsmart.

I found Battle Blade Bumblebee after work this evening. A very cool figure with some similarities to HA BB with respect to transformation design.

FINALLY HFTD and Generations have arrived on my side of Canada!

Generations were sold out already, but I managed to get a hold of HFTD BB Bee and Seaspray. Haven't had a chance to open them yet, but I'm excited!

Edit:

Battle Blade Bumblebee - If you don't have a movie Bumblebee yet, or even if you do, buy it! You just KNOW a toy is good when you spend 10 minutes playing with it before you even transform it. The weapon and battle mask gimmicks are UBER cool. And the level of improvement in screen accuracy, detail, and articulation over all previous deluxe movie Bees is akin to ROTF Leader Prime over the Movie 2007 Leader. I know we've been over-saturated with Bumblebees lately, and I've been as sick of them as everyone else, but if any movie Bumblebee is a must-have, it's this one. He's THAT good.*

*Flaws disclaimer: Feet stick out under the back of the car, axe blade is backwards, could use more paint detail.

Seaspray tomorrow!

Edit 2: Seaspray now! He's a little underwhelming. I mean, there's nothing wrong with him aside from some slightly loose elbows, but he just doesn't wow me like BB Bee. Seaspray's fairly well-engineered, but there's just not a lot of complexity, which I find to be the case with a lot of Voyager toys. That said, he's a pretty good update of the character, and I like the weapons, interactivity with Scouts, spinning propellers, and I'm looking forward to trying out the 3mm clip system, once I get a figure with the weapons. I also like how the weapons seem to use standard 5mm pegs, but his hand isn't molded in a block like older figures. I guess he's pretty good, just not all that impressive. I guess if you're really on the fence and don't have a lot to spend, I wouldn't bother, but if you like the character or just need a fix, he's worth picking up. Maybe on sale.

Picked up (literally) Encore G1 Ironhide and Ratchet form Seibertron's very own Dagon! These guys are AWESOME! I'd forgotten how quirky this mold was. The cardboard heads are actually pretty cool, I'm def. going to pick up the 3rd-party plastic heads.

Now I need Animated IH so I can have the red Ironhide and white Ratchet from G1, Classics, and Animated together- can the spacetime continuum handle it? Stay tuned...

I got all three Wave two PCC 2-packs. Leadfoot and Icepick are awesome, Sledge less so.

Leadfoot is solid in all three of his modes, and Pinpoint is like a supped up Powermaster.

Icepick is great, but he doesn't like to roll and his Powerup mode doesn't especially suit any of the current drones. chainclaw has a great weapon and bot mode, but his armor mode falls shy.

Sledge is the bottom of the barrel for the 2-packs. His bot mode looks good, but his altmode falls a bit short. He's labeled as a backhoe, but he doesn't really look like anything more than random construction parts. throttler suffers similarly. Also: Why would anybody think the bucket is a great place to put a drill?
