I picked up MP Grimlock today. I have to say I haven't even transformed him yet and he is awesome. I was a bit worried about spending 70 bucks on such a small Transformer, but he is worth it. I also wasn't going to open the box because it, unlike my American MP Prime, looks very hard to put him back in.
Grimlock was my first transformer (the blue G2 one though) so this is a bit of a "full circle" moment for me.

Now I am going to continue to do my Grimlock impression while I surf the web.

Found Darkmount and Cybertronian Megatron at a local Target today. Really cool figure, but Darkmount just seems like he should have been a Voyager. He borderline suffers from Universe Galvatron syndrome.

Man it is awesome having TF friends! Today I received Robot Heroes Inferno and Tigatron for free (!!!) from club member Spoons. I also got my TFCON Night-Bird with the help of Prime Evil. He also included one of my really big wants. The entire Natobot Roadbuster kit complete with figure and all guns (Also FREE!!!). FANTASTIC surprise to me. I never would have expected that! Thanks so much guys. Getting awesome TF stuff while I'm broke is pretty damn killer.

HFTD Voyager Optimus Prime, what a great mold! Modded his knees for more flexing.

Also picked up Scout Breacher, really nice but I thought he would clip into place inside Seaspray. *shrug* HFTD Legends Long Haul and Rampage. Rampage is a little meh, but Long Haul is great. Modded his legs to give him knees.

This week I finally received Crossfire 2A and 2B: two amazing little toys with incredible amounts of character. They really are the ultimate true life versions of what G1 box art wanted you to believe the bricks inside the box could be (by the way, I'm a total fan of the G1 bricks). And the Bruticus combined form is just pure love.

And I also received a great package containing an original complete G1 Metroplex, including everything, and more importantly, an original and totally complete G1 Trypticon: slighty yellowed due to age but complete down to the Full Tilt gun, and with fully functioning electronics (note to self: remove batteries after play)!

How is Takara Animated Samurai Prowl Compared to the American one? I've heard stories about the armor not staying in place on the American one.

Slightly different paint apps and its similiar to the hasbro version, the armor is only being held at one point.. so at the long run..

but mine now is held quite solid now so no complains so far.

Just a minor haul this week, for one that's worth it:

Power Core Combiners Huffer with Caliburst
Hunt for the Decepticons Battle Blade Bumblebee

Both are starting to get hard to find, especially Bumblebee. I'm suspecting Bumblebee is quite a desired character and has sold out pretty quick (I keep seeing Ravage and Jetblades and Ironhide), while Smolder comes per two in each case, while Searchlight and Huffer come per one. Can anyone confirm this?
