And as an added bonus, Shockwave has himself a duplicate.
Most logical, indeed.

First, Platinum Edition Grimlock vs Bruticus.
And the first wave of four, Megatron, Orion Pax, Trailbreakercutter, Bumblebee, and Megatron again.
Grimlock inspects the cargo. He is pleased to see Orion where he belongs.
One Megatron stays boxed for a while, the other will be Grimlock's playmate. It's unclear which fate is worse.
FOC Grimlock: Me Grimlock am greatest warrior!
Platinum Grimlock: No, Me Grimlock am greatest warrior!

Got the Night Attack Mini-con Team in the mail today, very glad to finally have these molds!

And I nabbed a g1 great looking Quickmix off of ebay (sans Boomer and Ricochet, sadly) for just a few bucks. Maybe we'll see an update of this guy in the Generations line, Hasbro?

It's that simple."
Why did I not wait for a sale? Sure, his robot mode is top notch, his weapon is cool, and his transformation scheme is creative. But man, that bug mode is a disapointing mess. Worst than BH voyager Shockwave's "tank" mode.
BH Cyberverse commander class Hardshell is a WAY more superior toy.

Yeah I only see it for $25+ on Amazon. To me it's not worth that price, especially with the instructions being full of errors.

It's mostly the back legs, really. They made perfect robo legs at the cost of not knowing at all how to turn them into bug legs. Also, even if his huge -ass weapon is fun, it's way too big for him. FOC Kickback is not perfect but is not too bad either. It's just the fact of having paid him full expensive price for not living up to it's ridiculous hype that bummed me out a little.
It could have been worse. I could had been impatient an ordered it online early for around 40$ shipped. Luckily, I held out and it just came out in Canada so it's common over here.

Platinum Editions: Optimus Prime, Omega Surpeme & Grimlock vs. Bruticus

Lo and behold, a giant box with BBTS tape on the seams was there, towering over my curious Siberian Husky's not-short-or-small head and ears. The box looked big enough to stack Willow and Mini-Me inside. I cracked it open and enjoyed the moment before the bubble wrap came off.
I'm off to the post office to send off some ebay sales, so I'll leave you now. It's so hard to leave these bad boys unopened just so I can run some errands...

Those are some solid figures. I tend to enjoy Rodimus more.

Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
