i didnt know that... but i dont recall seeing other versus sets in show colors now that i think about it. i bought this set as "not misb" so they could have just been put in a versus box (though i dont know why anyone would do that).
for the record, the seller previously had the same exact set only misb. so.... *shrug*

Weird... That would mean I'd have to look closely at Beast Wars VS sets some more. I really want a show-accurate Terrorsaur and maybe that 2nd-year Dinobot.

'round 200. quite painful. about a year ago they were floating around on ebay for 100-150 and i was all "pffff. i can find one cheaper!" then they disappeared for like 4 months... only to return with a 200-250 price tag. it hurt, but i figured i better snatch him up while he was still around.
and i figured he'd only go up and become more scarce with generations churning out BW characters. but im betting with my luck theyll announce a brand new generations voyager dinobot next week

Egad! What exactly makes this bad boy so expensive? He's made of rubber.

Beloved character + "show-accurate" toy + exclusive to Japan = wallet on life support.

yup. and he's really scarce. and he's not rubber. the dino arms are, the tail is a thicker rubbery plastic, and the rest is the hard stuff.
and yeah jelze... he does remind me of jetstorm... makes me want one now. how is that mold?

The weapons are cool and can combine into a cannon-staff-like thingie. I like staffsThe jet mode is interesting color-wise, plus the beak on the nosecone is a nice touch. The downside is he has a lot of undercarriage junk, but that's hardly anything new with jet-TF's. He's worth checking out
Speaking of BM Jetstorm, BH Dreadwing's motifs remind me of another character...
