I really couldn't think of any way to describe it other than that Plus the Dino bots have the cockpits as well (which confused me for a good long time)

I just refer to those as seat flaps.



The MP has it too. The third rectangle along his spinal cord can be lifted up to turn into a seat that could seat a pilot. Sadly, no one has ever taken a picture of that.

Just for the sake of being complete, there Diaclone-original figures have functional cockpits:

The part that gets me most about that product is Optimus being a peeping Tom. All kinds of wrong here. Also, can anyone enlighten me on who she is? And what's with the attire (in the manga)?

T-AI is basically a supercomputer in Hatsune Miku hologram form. The manga is, well...made in Japan
Interesting bits on some little bits I manage to understand:
Windblade refers to herself as Nijika's little sister until she got a program reset.
Chromia's manga is Tigatron's wet dream where all fembots wants him.
Arcee is for some reason Ratrap's caretaker? Cleaning the house, waking and driving him to work, bringing him lunch, getting nagged by T-AI(Something about her bikini armor? lol) and making dinner for the gang.

Oh lol, the feminazis would have a field day with this! I find this pretty ridiculous myself, but the young Tumblrites will rage so much, their heads will collectively explode!

Hey now, let's respect people's opinions, especially with a topic like this. It's the internet, people can say what they want, even if it is a bit extreme. While not a "feminazi" as you put it, I still feel like women's rights is an issue that needs to be addressed (disclaimer: I'm a dude) and it's a shame that this comic makes Arcee, an awesome badass, into a maid basically.

I'm also a firm supporter of gender equality, but sometimes, you just have to be reasonable, and live and let live in certain cases. Japan has a real fascination for all things "kawaii" and their idea of beauty leans heavily towards the feminine side--even in the case of men. Just look at some of their pop stars. Girls doing traditionally "girly and housewifey" things are considered cute and adorable.

At this point, it's tempting to branch off into a discussion of cultural norms and eastern vs western mentality, but this is pretty off-topic as it is.

All in all, in Japan, the whole girly girl thing isn't frowned upon, and still very much acceptable. And as the comic is packaged for the Japanese release of Arcee, I don't see a problem in her being portrayed in a way that's acceptable to the Japanese, even if it's somewhat frowned upon by the more aggressive feminists in the US or Europe.

Plus, that's why we have the Dark Cybertron comics included with Hasbro's release of Arcee.

Well, had a fun little medical exam in Amsterdam today. O so fun... Anyway, a trip to the import store there has netted me a couple "treasures" in the shape of Japanese characters: Road Caesar, the Powered Masters, and Overlord... in the form of Kabaya candy kits:

Yeah, I never said what I paid for it. Sadly, Lena is all out of Cloud Roadbusters and Hellwarps

EDIT: Looks like a bunch of people were willing to pay 89.99$US for him as he and Rodimus are the only Cloud figures which are sold out from BBTS.

So Generations: Combiner Wars Motormaster came in today! Honestly, how well this mold works as the character is mind-blowing. So glad I held off on Optimus Prime. Though, until the next wave of Deluxes show up, I've got a one-armed, no-legged Menasor up against a Superion with two right feet.
