They wouldn't be able to, as the pegs have been removed. It's not a true KO type of upscaling as some of the joints are different too. Still, Abominus would have been BIG :shock:

they're great stand alones, and big enough to hold their own in a scuffle.

And as for KOs, my upsized version should be coing from sir toys anyday starting next week, we'll see how huge abominus is.

All of the ball joints have been replaced (except those in Twinstrike's feet) with hinges and swivels for added stability yet replicating the articulation of the original Legion. Unfortunately, Windrazor lost movement in the elbows, having a plain swivel right above it instead the original ball joint.

They do have the Deluxe height, and they feel really sturdy for their size, possibly because of their limited articulation. Joints are good (Twinstrike's head leaves something to be desired however), and they're not KO-like, but I could see people considering them as such. I will say the Predacons don't have the disadvantage of having (better articulated) figures already in the Deluxe Class, unlike Smokescreen and Bumblebee. The new weapons for each figure were a good move I think, if TakaraTomy's repurposings for the Movie Advanced series (Rachet, Starscream and the giveaways) are anything to go by

Would I recommend them? Only as boosters and curiosities, or for people who like Hasbro's occasional experiment. I got them as side-kicks for my main Predacons and they fit the role nicely.

Jelze, try to hunt down the Upscaled "voyager" Predaking. Not only he's a beauty and fun to fiddle with, the thing is HUGE. Ultra Class at the very least, AOE Leader sized at the very most.

Best Prime Predaking toy IMO.

Yup Will, I did found that trap door. It will make a nice playset for my Cyberverse Wars! BTW, I found that even though this set is rare, it's not worth that much. I found a single one on Ebay, brand new and sealed, for only 80$US + shipping.

The 2$CAN I paid for it is still a steal anyway.

And there were no little accessories in the trap door? You and I have already found out that you never know what kids will leave in there. As for buying the playset new, there is even cheaper than that. I found something cool in a thrift shop today as well, cant wait to show you guys.

Unfortunately, nothing. It IS a pretty big space so anything left in there would have rattle pretty loudly.
Also, lol 70$. Rare, but cheap.
Maybe it's not even that rare. We just don't know where to look.

And those spaceships were in the hidden compartment (please dont cry).

I guess this thing is not rare at all in the end (in Quebec).

For those who don't know, its the Beast Wars II Maximal base by Blue Box (officially licensed from takara).

Cobotron, if you thought Kanrabat finding this was crazy, 2 people finding it within 30 days is even more insane.

Picked up one of two Combiner Wars Legends Thundercrackers at my local TRU. I had a $5 coupon, so I basically got him for $5, which, in my opinion, these things should be going for since these no longer have the transforming Mini-Cons/Micromasters/Targetmasters. Now to wait in silence for Skywarp to complete the set.
