Not much of a haul to report (legends powerglide) BUT what I did want to post here is how terribly unprofesional the mail man was. He put the box into a mail slot that was far too small, leading to this:

G2 Prime of Justice and the pièce de ré·sis·tance ...........Combiner Wars Legends Scale Skywarp! The one and only at the local TRU! :DANCE:

Sure you can get one at ebay but either comes as a set or is so overpriced that the "buy" me conscience won't allow for such a wee figure.

Acid Storm is my next target (he's a shelf warmer btw and his price is jacked up higher than his original release)

So now, I have TT Legends scale Starscream (a work of art), TT and now Skywarp. Complants on the mold would be the paint bleed in the face. TT Starcream hit the nail on the mark....no bleeding and the gray face details.......

G2 Prime of Justice equally satisfying. Price is within reach justifiable and great vintage design.

Special mention MP Tracks who is not without flaws but a real good MP release and Collectors Edition G1 TT Inferno (my original really needs to retire due to age)

I'm releived now that by living in an appartment block, I will not have to deal with this. A walk to my local drugstore post-counter will be worth it.

Picked up TRU's MP Starscream. The box was damaged, so I got a 10% discount. Beautiful figure. I can't decide if I should display him in jet mode or slap MP Sunstorm's coronation kit on him and have him in robot mode.

My favourite is in jet mode with rts megatron clipped on below him (starscream comes with a clip that fits with that toy).

Firstly. here is today's haul which cost 25$ cdn (18.50$ US) total.

Someone I have been doing business with since my first post on this site (not a member, but it all happened at the same time ) sold me this starscream which he just didnt want anymore. He wasnt sure if he would be buying or selling anymore tfs so to thank me for 1.5 years of business, he gave me this soundwave (and Laserbeak) which he had restored

Wow will, that was awfully nice of this guy.
And look! Soundwave stands up straight. My old G1 Soundwave is so old he is permanently hunched forward. He needs a cane to walk.

Yeah it was nice of him, he sure knew how to treat his TF buddy, take notes ! :lol:

And my Soundwave was leaning on Starscream's box above. But I checked right now and he does stand straight, no leaning, even though he is super loose.

However, his head will fold down if I dont put it an an angle.

Correcton, free G1 TFs. Although someone did give me free Botcon Exclusives once, so I guess something like that would be ok too.

I leave mine in robot mode. For me, it's is the single most perfect Starscream ever.

My hunt today was quite interesting. You can read about it here.

The highlight though is finding G1 Thrust at a goodwill place... again. What is up with that toy? Is he the least rare seeker of the bunch? I have now owned 4 of these and I only started collecting G1 scraps a year ago with a very small but cute collection. Anyways, he was 1.99 (1.50$ US) I simply couldnt say no. I now have a nice G1 seeker troop full of battle scars.

I also got the cereal boxes to get the Hasbro coupons. Only realized when at home putting them on the computer that the free 15$ toy coupon was sold out, yay

Gonna have to return some cereal.

I went to Toys R Us yesterday looking for Blades and Streetwise (The last two Protectobots I need to finish Defensor) I didn't find them but did get Leader Megatron and Voyager Prime instead because apparently I have little to no self-control :-P

They must have been on sale, the pair of them together were $20 cheaper than I was expecting so at least there's that.

You got CW Leader Megatron, "G1" version? It's one of the best Megatron figure in a while, and a perfect update to the G1 original.

For a heavier G1 hommage I can't recommend that Replolabel set enough:

Yeah, sorry it was the G1 version of Megatron, and I will absolutely be getting a bunch of reprolabels soon for a bunch of figures, Megatron included.

I was going to say I was never very fond of Armada Megatron's look, that he looks more like Scorponok to me...and then all of a sudden I kind of want one :-P

(Why does he look like Scorponok? I never watched the Armada Cartoon, didn't stop me from getting some of the toys back in the day though)

I only just got regular Prime (I know I'm a bit behind) but I intend on getting Battlecore Prime as well at some point.
