Thanks to TrU's mad sale and full stock, I could get my 5th Blastoff for only 10.30$CAN WITH taxes! Onslaught can stop laughing and Cyclonus can stop moping. Galvatronus got back his left arm. :lol:

The car boot sales here have been a bit bare on the Transformers side of things this year. And when I do find ones I would want they're often missing far too many pieces to be worth getting even cheap (such as a RotF Mindwipe missing his head and both legs...)

But today I found the G1 Transformer Misfire so that's something.

If you're wondering why the Fifth Doctor (whom I also found at the car boot today) is sat on him it's cos I was just playing about with them and then it reminded me a bit of this classic Doctor Who cliffhanger cos spaceshippy thing and pinkness and stuff so yeah.

Wow, that is the exact scramble I was planning on giving Skylynx. I was worried the green and black wouldnt mesh, but it seems to be perfectly fine. Though I would make trailbreaker his leg and prowl his arm simply because I love the offroad mold as a leg just as much as I dlislike the dead end mold as a leg.

Pretty much. I have stunticons and G2 Airealbots in the mail. If 8 ever find Starscream (only because I collect Screamers) and Devestator at prices I'm willing to pay, I'll pick them up. I'll also be getting deluxe groove, and a real Blast Off when it's finally released.

Which Starscream, Leader or ghost?
Leader is pretty cheap on HTS's ebay store right now. Maybe not cheap enough though. :lol:

Leader. I'll eventually want the Ghost as well, but I am actively considering taking the plunge on that fancy Galvaghostus set as a whole.

combiners have a unified color scheme except poor Defensor, he's a mess. :lol:

Was at the convention ACEN (Anime Central) this weekend. (Side note, anyone else there? I was the male Satsuki Kiryuin cosplayer, for reference) I picked up the E-Hobby Deadlock for $65, which is decent compared to some online stores. Also, on a side note, I picked up the "Movie Realization" Ronin Boba Fett figure. Also, yes, I'm back, for good this time

I got a little random dumb luck haul today. So I decided to do something I normally don't do; explore the town I'm in this week. I normally don't have free time when I got to the hotel, it was early, I had nothing better to do and I was curious to see what was on the other side of that hill. :-?

Lo and behold, there was a Hudon's Treasure Hunt just on the other side. ;)^

If you don't know what these are, I linked ya.

Don't feel like clicking the link; this is where old stock, returned items and damages boxes go to die. You can almost find anything at these places and stock is constantly changing. They get a lot of Hasbro stuff at these, mostly from other retailers, like Target for example. They are like TJ Maxx or Marshall's only incredibly less "classy". Willy Bojangles would love em.

So back to why we are here; toy hauls. I found 100% complete in box with instructions and all accessories: RID Overload and Backtrack and RID Mini-con 4-pack wave 2. They looked like either returns or something someone opened in store. A few things were loose, but all there. The cool thing (also not cool thing) about Hudson's is that they encourage people to open anything and check it out and test it (no returns). So I popped them open played with them a bit, reboxed and walked out paying 50% retail. So both sets came up to $18.50 total pre-tax. and we don't count tax just like we don't count overseas shipping right ;-)

Suped-Up The Most Mini-cons Ever Battle Mode!

If a pile of opened TF boxes doesn't put a smile on your face, then why are you here?

I have a couple of the mini-cons molds already, but most of these guys are super awesome. Chickenhawk and Weaponsteam being the standouts. Backtrack is the bees knees, but I have the mold and have gotten all my gushing out already. Golfballatron and Cyclonabatpire are OK and fun to shoot out of Overload at the other guys.

Overload is a mix of I knew what I was getting into but I'm still disappointed in him even though he has a few neat tricks up his sleeve. He looks like a seriously badass robo-pirate with his parrotformer perched on his shoulder. He'll work as my RID Soundwave stand-in for a bit.

Weapon slipstream was my favorite from the set too. I'm actually using him as my Jetstorm so I have 2 different looking minicons to go with Drift :MAXIMAL:
