Not sure where you live, but around here there is a store called 5-Below. A year ago, they had all kinds of Prime and AoE stuff for $5. If I wanted to, I could have bought 40+ vehicons for $5 a pop. :MAXIMAL:

Midwest US. I check Goodwill from time to time, sometimes they carry toys still in the packaging, but I need to be better about checking dollar store type establishments for deals like those.

That would have been an impressive army!

Oh it really would have. They had almost the entire dark of the moon line, Prime, even AoE vehicons and junkheap, those guys who were barely released, in spades. I highly recommend watching 5-Below for any sort of toy at least a year or 2 old :MAXIMAL:

That's pretty unethical. Why don't you contact the seller, tell them it arrived late and pay them? that's what I would do.

They may say don't worry about it and keep the toy, to encourage you to shop with them again. But you should at least tell them. What if other customers stuff comes late, should the seller just keep putting up with people stealing from them because of the postal system?

It's basically stealing. That is the kind of abuse that unfortunately people can get away with through paypal. If you walked into a brick and mortar store bought something on credit cancelled the payment and got a refund, they would not let you get away with that sort of crap. They would just send a bill or debt collector to your house.

Nice, wish they had stuff in thrift stores like that in my area. It's all womens clothes and old junk nobody wants, sometimes some alright furniture though.

The one is definitely a Gundam. Looks like a deformed version of Epyon(I had no idea of the name, had to look it up), I just know him because I had the model kit some years ago. I think it turns into a double headed dragon? Not sure about your version's articulation though. And it looks like he's missing his whip, so unfortunately even if it can bend its way into a dragon he won't have a tail

Just reacquired Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus, after selling him a while back and regretting it. I wonder if there will be an upgrade kit for him, now that he's upgraded to Dominus Maximus in MTMTE. (Or am I missing something, and that's an entirely different character?)

Heh, same here. I sold Magnus so I could pick up the Takara version, but now im not happy with the prices im finding. thinking about getting another Hasbro Magnus now.

I don't think the price on him will drop any time soon, so if you don't want to cough up the dough for Takara, you should probably get the Hasbro version soon. BTW, I thought you said you didn't like it? That it was too hollow and cheap, IIRC.

I do feel that way...... but, ****, man, it's Ultra Magnus, and IDW styled no less. I must have him, cheap hollowness and all.

Dominus Ambus is a different character in the comics. He's Minimus Ambus' brother and not part of Ultra Magnus at all. So Miminus still is Magnus.

Now, if you're ok with a slight spoiler simply related to Magnus and Minimus: in issue 53 he was upgraded by Brainstorm to "Maximus Ambus" with a huge Magnus armor, looking similar to his old Magnus armor but much larger

Yeah, that's who I meant. Maximus Ambus. So it's still Minimus in the armor, except now it's a bigger armor. So I was wondering if we'd get an upgrade (3rd party or Takara) to beef up the CW Magnus figure.

Also, inspired by my recent reacquisition of Magnus, I also went and bought back CW Cyclonus, whom I also sold and regretted recently.

Ok, I remember you saying you were a bit behind in reading so I wanted to try to avoid spoilers!

I could see a KO Magnus being upscaled to almost Devastator size to match Maximus Ambus. That would be really cool actually.

and CW Cyclonus is a good figure. I have him combined with Mirage, Smokescreen, Hound and Trailbreaker that the moment. Great figure and I love that they did put him out. Glad you got him again. :MAXIMAL:

That's the going price for the add-on kit and I heard the quality is ironically the same as the original. So, while having spendt that much for that Optimus, might as well go for broke.

Is that from you-know-who? Because he might want to put all that **** into an envelopped like some garbage. If from someone else and the kit is the original, go for it. Even if the kit is KO, that's like getting Lazer Prime for free. Don't pass it up.

The only reason I won't buy the upgrade kit is because I already have the original G2 Lazer Optimus and that satisfy me aplenty.
