I got Titan Force Sentinel Prime and Brainstorm in today from eBay (waiting on the Takara Adventure Windblade) and figured I'd check the Target by my college after class with my old roommate. Turns out we got ridiculously lucky and there were two Chromedome on the shelf for only $15 apiece! They had a couple Mindwipe and a Highbrow (might grab Highbrow tomorrow if he's still there, didn't have enough money today) on the shelf, so I guess people preferred (Weird)Wolfwire.

Chromedome's amazing, I got great paint apps and a nice, tight fit on the headmaster. Brainstorm is great too, I love the voyager for the IDW body but this one has a better head sculpt and paint apps (in my opinion, anyway). Sentinel is nice too; I already have the regular version of him so he had less of an impact for me. Keep looking, everybody, these guys are slowly trickling into mass retail!

No, I'm done for a while. Unless I stop and get mindwipe today. The only other TR figures I'm interested in getting are Sixshot and Blitzwing, possibly Astrotrain and Tankor.

Agreed. I learned long ago not to care about scale with my transformers. Generations Brainstorm is the vastly superior figure. So much so, that he is one of the few non MP/3rd party figures who will survive my current purge.

To be perfectly honest, I find the TR deluxes to be a bit on the small side for the characters they are representing.

Found a lone Chromedome on an otherwise empty display. Got one more Target to hit today, hopefully I get lucky and find the other three. Don't think I can handle Walmarr hunting today.

Oh and my TRU had fort max, wave 1 deluxes and that snazzy RID stasis pod pack.


Update: just found mindwipe and wolfy at walgreens! No Brainstorm though...

And yes, I did the thing I've been chirping about from time to time with Dome's shoulders. Gotta shave a little more off the construct bot wheel peg but I think it looks alright, don't you?
