Woah, dude, that's quite the United Warriors haul! Did you previously own a lot of Combiner Wars figure before, or you went directly (and all out I might add) into the Takara sets?

Excellent choice for Bruticus and Computron. You can't go wrong. I can't say anything for Grand Convoy, but Grand Galvatron is one that would have been nice to have. Oh well, it's way too expensive for me.

Be careful with Menasor though. I owned it and hated it's instability. So I ended up selling it for 100$CAN to my friend. Some months later, Motormaster just randomly snapped in half at his waist joint! So what we did was to order a Hasbro one on clearance from Walmart.ca. Once he received it, we swapped the Takara wheels and the horns on the Hasbro version. Then placed the broken Takara in the Hasbro box. Finally, we returned the broken figure to Walmart for a full refund. It's not a perfect solution but it was the cheapest one. Sure, it's not 100% honest either but it was returned as a defective product so it will not return to any store shelves.

In Canada, the regular price is around 17-20$CAN. And on sale, it's around 15$CAN and lately, the deluxes went as low as 9$CAN!

I know it's old news, but we got it really good in Canada and in America!

WOW, all great hauls. Man, getting all those Unite Warriors in one go must be exhilirating, congrats!!!!

And Iron, let meknow what you think of Starscream. While he feels a bit off with the light plastic (apparently that is standard for a "flying" toy) everything clicks in perfectly and the transformation is very fun and innovative with a new robot mode design and no fake chest. What do you think of him?

Though if you work out the exchange rate...

Well, I only discovered Combiner Wars a couple of months ago, and did some research on what they were, and where to get them. Then I found out there was also Unite Warriors, and learned both are official TF toys, from different countries, well, you all know the deal here, but it really got me into researching all of these. And when one day I found a Grand Galvatron on a Dutch secondhand website for €85,- incl. shipping, I bought it, and was pleasantly surprised at the SIZE of the individual robots. I went on to compare prices, and concluded that Hasbro is pretty expensive here in the EU, so I might as well order some Takara sets if they were around the €110-130 price point.
(Single Hasbro Deluxes cost €19,95 here, and Voyagers are €29,95 in the cheapest store I found near here, being ToyChamp in Belgium, so a full Combiner set is €110,-)
I got the new four sets for €500,- so in all I paid €585,- for 5 combiners = €117,- per set. And yeah, for €7,- I definately prefer Takara. Plus I get them all in one swoop, eliminating the constant searching.

On other news: we are seeing our mortgage advisor monday, to see how we can best finance our new house, as we've placed a bid on one, and sold out current house recently. So after we've moved, I'll have a garage all for myself to make a gameroom of, and it shall be a MAN-CAVE, complete with these Combiners on display. I can not wait.
