Nabbed a Knock-Out from a local Target this morn and I have to say, I really like him. His parts seems to clip a little better in alt mode too. Now for Elita and Wildrider.

Found Elita-1 and Wildrider at Target (passed on Knockout and they didnt have Tarantulus) and also found an Authentics Arcee at 5 Below.



Really like both of these figures although I'm disappointed that Wildrider's backpack dosnt lock in at all. Having Elita-1 also helped me figure out why the Lega-Cee (thanks Perspective End for that name) mold looks like a male sculpt to me. Its that blasted tiny codpiece that is making the hips look thinner than they really are. I'm just happy I skipped Lega-Cee in favor of Road Rocket, who is male in most if not all fictions up to this point. Still, it's amazing what one tiny detail can do.


Lastly, Authentic Arcee is surprisingly good, and while I know its not a high bar, this gal blows ER Arcee out of the water. not bad for $5.

I keep hearing negative things about knock out, until your post. He looks fine to me, is there an actual issue?

The only issue I know of is the same one people had with the other Prime Universe characters, that being not liking the G1-ification. Otherwise, since he uses the SS86 Jazz mold, could be any issue that existed with the figure, not sure.

Triple haul today.

Because sales and good prices from Toy Snowman, I got back Select Lift Ticket (Now that BLUE Trailbreaker is announced). I also got Select Galvatron and Cyclonus.

Because I got the above, I went for a SS86 Sweep to have "Toy Scourge" (or is it Movie Scourge again?). Wile 8 was at it, I finally decided to get SS86 Arcee.

Last but not least, I got that big "Evergreen" Optimus from Amazon.ca. Cheap at less than deluxe price at 30$can+TX!
Eh, I just can't believe that 30$can is WAY cheaper than deluxe price in current year.

The only issue I know of is the same one people had with the other Prime Universe characters, that being not liking the G1-ification. Otherwise, since he uses the SS86 Jazz mold, could be any issue that existed with the figure, not sure.

Pretty much this. The G1-ification ruined his torso and arms from the very distinct design he originally carried, and the headsculpt has always looked pretty lifeless and not very Knockout-y.

Finally! Got my pre-ordered Legacy Laser Optimus Prime from GameStop that was supposed to arrive July 1. I guess that means the SS Sludge that was due August 1 should arrive sometime at the end of next month. I emailed them a few weeks ago asking what was up and never got a reply. They've totally lost me for pre-orders.

Also found these weird blind bag things at Dollar Tree this morning. They said "walker" on the package and thought at first they were the wall walker things from a year or so ago (same type of package), but they're like flat foam figures with straws going through the hips and shoulders for the arms and legs to slide into. Apparently "walker" just means you can move the legs. I bought two and got Megatron and Soundwave, the other two are Optimus and Bumblebee, all in the Evergreen style. Felt like something you'd get in a $.50 gumball machine, definitely not worth $1.25.

Got the orange Tigatron from Amazon since it was discounted. Also found some good stuff at the thrift store like the Power Rangers Lion Fortress Zord, Cyberverse Cybertronian Bumblebee and the original 1989 Batmobile toy.

Indeed. I vowed not to get it due to the size difference. But my kid wanted it and for 6$ at a thrift store, I can bring it back to a thrift shop when he grows tired of it and not feel I wasted any money.

This guy takes more batteries than (fill in a joke here). Mines probably more than the bajillion pounds actual transforming optimus toy.

So I haven't had the money to drop on master made third part devy yet and this official guy was on my wants before them. I already had the six individual consturlcticons so getting him kinda made sense but as I thought and do, still want the master made toy.

Generations kids logic devy:

The things that are a bit off or not to my liking.

The mettalic paint... Maybe there is a none mettalic paint version. The individual constructions don't have it.

The yellow line markings look sticker ish if that makes sense.

The articulated fingers don't look good (he has a swappable fixed hand to hold his gun - which surely fingers are articulated so they can hold stuff). Also some lack of paint on the finger joints when bending the fingers.

The amount of batteries. 3 per light up section... Head, torso, torso window, each limb, gun... Thats 21 batteries!!!! If he was USB compatible it would have been awesome.

Also the figure leans a bit, it comes with a stand but I'd prefer not to display it on it or have a big pole connecting to the figure.


The great things. The gun is actually a remote. Yes you have to shoot devy with his own gun, but I'm amazed none the less. Hardly any metal pins showing on the figure. Lots of movement with some scary feel ratchets and it weirdly still feels like a combiner due to the amount of pieces that are removable to put batteries in (which except for the head, are all magnetised parts for easy removal). As for how well he fits in with my mastermades is a story for another day (or a picture of what's sirting on your shelves thread) as I'll have to make room for him.


*edit, didn't have to make that much room for him. He goes great with the nasty evil third party toys XD

Score! Love this Arcee! And that Sideways is pretty sharp as well, considering his screen time. Now if only he could split in half in car mode, he'd be perfect.

Some nice pickups over the last week for me. Got the last Wreckers I needed, another Velocitron figure, Jhiaxus, and a couple core class!
Most importantly, I got my first Masterpiece figure! He is so freaking awesome I can't wait to get off work and transform him. I'm also looking forward to the "join them in extinction" pose!

Yes, MPM Megatron looks great, you'll have a lot of fun.

But the art of his arm on the box is still weird. I know it's supposed to be his mace, but it just looks like he has a floppy arm.
