That's exactly what I did in displaying him. Not just the colors, but the overall looks makes Cybertron DX Megs pretty transmetalish. So both him and my Armada Predacon are together on the display. The bigger one being the "evolved form"... or Galvatron!

Finally found Wildrider at the Target in Canton, GA. Saw one more left. I'll admit, the back kibble could have used a little more work. But he now fills out my Menasor's left leg. Makes me more pumped for Dead End and Breakdown.

Had some time to myself Friday after work, and then a very long day at work saturday, and had an arrival in the mail and also found some stuff in stores.
Knockout and M'Baku were found at Target, with KO being the only Legacy deluxe in the store, while M'Baku let me cancel my preorder. Then I found Starscream at Gamestop with the 50% off clearance items and got him for $24, which works since i only wanted the throne. 5th Brother and Leia arrived from Pulse in the mail.
Ironically, out of all 5 of these, 5th Brother is the best thing in the haul.

Ss bee Ratchet though I need to give him some big space wheels in alt mode so he's kinda like the crawlers from the last lost in space.

Good haul from Deep Discount. Got Legacy Elita-1 and Tarantulas and SS Sideways. So far so good with the pre-orders, don't know why people have so many issues with them. This is pre-order 9, 10, and 11 I've received from them, just 3 more to be up to date on orders (Legacy Knock-Out and Wild Rider, and SS86 Arcee).

Lucky 11 times over I guess. They don't bundle pre-orders so each figure I've gotten from them was an individually boxed figure (and better packaged than Amazon, that's for sure!). Did your friend pre-order or just buy off the store, maybe that's the difference in their reliability?

My haul over the last week. I've been focused on Bayverse Studio Series since I did not have any of these in my collection yet. DOTM Megs, Dino and ROTF Grindor all from BBTS. ROTF Soundwave and AOE Gslvatron from Amazon, and a pretty decent deal on battle damaged Megs.

You may be disappointed by Galvatron, but Battle Damaged ROTF Megs is a clear winner as well as Grindor. As for DOTM Megs, his only true flaw are his square legs. But he's too awesome for this to be a dealbreaker.

Not sure if tarrantulus is my first regular retail legacy figure? Pretty sure he is and he's all kinds of good with no quibbles.
Lift ticket got discounted early so I thought best to pick up what I'm calling Bluebreaker if it effected production numbers, though likely not. Hoist was one of my first transformers as a kid so having him in all colors/forms and ill never own the original diaclone toy/variants helps to sway the just buying the same thing again feels.
For the price of a voyager plus picking up a voyager plus figure was the kinda price I'd pay thanks to indemands sale. Hopefully it should be safe from figure swapping too because if there is a baynus starscream in there, there will be vomiting.

the four null rays was a bit of a surprise for me with the figure as I never bothered with reviews of him. A crushed crown would have been nice though
and if they engineering the hands (which thankfully dont have sausage finfgers like blaster) an extra joint on the nose cone to fold it out of view behind the head would have been awesome.

This needs to be a Select release. A gray/black Leader SS86 Starscream with half "disintegrated" parts making claver uses of clear plastics. Complete with the crushed crown.

Got my Tenseg Optimus Prime in from Pulse. He's really nicely painted and looks great in bot mode. He's molded in metallic plastic so he's got a bit of shine to him. He definitely stands out. Haven't built the stand yet, I'll get around to it another time.
On a side note, of all these Hasbro import black box figures this is the only one I've noticed that actually puts the name of the figure on the box rather than some sort of number system.
