I liked the HISS Megatron enough to make me want to get the Striker Bee. So I unloaded some unwanted stuff at my local geek store to get it. Luckily enough, it was on "extended black Friday" sale at 15$can off. This allowed me to also get the elusive SS86 Junkheap.

I had initially wanted to wait til the Skullgrin my brother ordered me arrived to post my Christmas acquisitions, but he discovered yesterday that he actually had to re-do the order because of Amazon still having his old card. So, it'll be a bit yet before Skully shows up.
Legacy Pointblank is a treat. The front wheels should have only been half as thick, so that they wouldn't interfere with the elbows, but that's my only significant complaint.
Robots in Disguise (2001) Hightower is a figure I've had my eye on for a while, but other purchases kept coming up. So I asked for him as a gift, and received, and that's finally taken care of. I now have the full Build Team. Not 100% complete, I'm still missing Grimlock and Wedge's weapons, but I can at least make Landfill in Hurricane Mode now.

Stopped at Target this morning, nothing too special but they did have Legacy Core figures that weren't from Wave 1. Finally got myself a Shockwave, not that I was too eager to get him, but at least Target sells them under MSRP.

I found 4 Red Cogs at 1 Target that were on clearance for only 15% off, so I passed. Stopped at another and found 1 at 50% off which is worth it enough for the weapons to me.

The other store actually has promise. Target goes 15, 30, 50, 70 then 90% off usually week by week. In another week and a half, the 4 at the first store should also be down to 50% off.

Got my official-unofficial Macross VF-1S "God of Flame" G1 Jetfire today after I screwed up the payment (thought the invoice they sent for the second half was an automatic payment). Haven't really messed with it much yet, just took the base figure out and moved it around a bit. It's neat, but definitely a display piece, not something I'm going to want to play around with much. Parts constantly come unclipped, the joints aren't very strong and one of the "hips" (used for changing, not for moving his leg) feels is so stiff I'm sure it'll sheer the ball joint off if I move it, going to have to unscrew it and get a closer look. The articulated hands are really tiny, but they come off easy and he's got larger replacements. He is a large figure so that's nice, not as large as the original, I think he's somewhere around Kingdom Galvatron's size (I put him back in the box before comparing him to anything). I might mess with him more tomorrow or this weekend, when I do I'll post more thoughts in his topic.

Got Legacy Skullgrin today.
I'm glad I just paid 20$CAN for it because despite a solid bot mode, it's disappointing that he basically just transform into a "cassette."

Yeah, I feel the same way (except for the the part about getting it cheap). I like the bot mode, but I have no idea what the alt mode is supposed to be. Tank treads in the back but nothing in the front? Does the front just hover or something? Feels like they gave up half way through so they could use the alt mode for something else. Yes, I realize it's based on the original toy, but that had a giant wheel in the middle, this one doesn't because they were too lazy to figure out how to stick wheels in the treads as well. May as well have left it as a non transforming shell.
